Would you like to go get a sub with me, Jeffster? That would be on topic since you're an Fi dom, right?
If you could be anything you want, I bet you'd be disappointed--am I right?

Heh, this turned into INFPs-are-bad-because-they-have-evil-Fi while I was on vacation! I'm shocked.

I'm so going to get you all banned!

Hmmm....FJs are known for this behavior too.

Do feelers just kind of get on your nerves, Sim?

No offense, but some of the biggest guilttrippers I know are T's. Abuse of the F function in *any* person can include guilttripping, ime.

    I concur.

Behavior is not confined to type. Type only indicates a preference for particular approaches, many of which lead to the exact same behaviors for very different motivations.
An argument is two people sharing their ignorance.

A discussion is two people sharing their understanding, even when they disagree.

I guess being an Fe user I am probably biased toward identifying with the FJ form of this behavior more than the FP one.

So no, not really...there are probably more Ts that annoy me; it's just certain FPs that really drive me up the wall for Ti vs. Fi reasons.

I don't recall claiming that this behavior was exclusive to Fs. In fact I even pointed out that most NFPs I know don't do that, so I dunno how you guys got the idea that I said guilt tripping is a uniquely F behavior.

Sim, sorry, I should've quoted, it was meant in reply to Marms post.

Now I'm left confused. Hungry too, thanks to Jeffster.

I don't even understand the difference between INFP Fi and ISFP Fi.
I really can't identify with the whole "jumping people once they've messed with my values" stuff.
I mean, I have my values. But they're MY values and nobody else's, so I don't expect others to follow "my" set of values. I just don't say anything because I don't usually see the purpose in it. I'm not looking to start a brawl, simply because someone stepped over my turf in that way.

I have this nagging feeling that I'm jumping into something way bigger than myself at the moment.
