Whether you want to debate the Oracle's type is not really my point anyway ...
Oracle: I'd ask you to sit down, but, you're not going to anyway. And don't worry about the vase.
    Neo: What vase?
[Neo turns to look for a vase, and as he does, he knocks over a vase of flowers, which shatters on the floor]
    Oracle: That vase.
    Neo: I'm sorry...
Oracle: I said don't worry about it. I'll get one of my kids to fix it.
    Neo: How did you know?
Oracle: Ohh, what's really going to bake your noodle later on is, would you still have broken it if I hadn't said anything?

What I wanted to say (by putting that clip up) is NOT that the oracle is any type in particular. It's about what she says.

I hadn't really thought about her type to be honest. INFJ sounds reasonable ...

But I wanted folks to read between the lines in a different way ... I'll be more explicit later.

As I am trying to say now, it's that interaction that conveys something I want to say ... let me find the right words.

Oracle: Do you know what that means?
    [points to a banner]
Oracle: It means know thy self. I wanna tell you a little secret, being the one is just like being in love. No one needs to tell you you are in love, you just know it, through and through.

That's not particularly Fi, that's human. Anyone who's ever been in love will tell you the same thing, regardless of type.

"Know thyself" is also very Ni-Ti

Oracle: OK, now I'm supposed to say, "Hmm, that's interesting, but... then you say...
    Neo: ...but what?"
Oracle: But... you already know what I'm going to tell you.
    Neo: I'm not The One.
Oracle: Sorry, kid. You got the gift, but it looks like you're waiting for something.
    Neo: What?
Oracle: Your next life, maybe. Who knows? That's the way these things go.

NiFe. Neo becomes "the One" when his Tertiary Ni is awakened. Primary Ni recognizes tertiary Ni ("you got the gift"). Aux Fe recognizes that Neo hasn't taken his role as "the One" (that is, developed the creativity and vision of tert Ni to supplement the capability of TiSe), and hopes to provoke this development through the assuaging of the inferior Fe's apprehension about the leadership role.

Yes, The Matrix is nothing but Jungian psychology. But I'm not saying anything everyone here doesn't already know.

Well, I will just leave this one then, as I have said now, three times, I wasn't trying to type the characters.

Thanks though for making me reflect on that.

Plus, Trinity tells Neo that the Oracle cannot tell you who you are. When is the last time a Fi user didn't try to tell you who you are!? Amirite?

Tertiary Ni doesn't have to be "awakened", it's already there If anything, it's ego-centric influence has to be quelled for ISPs to grow. The Matrix really isn't Jungian-centric, it's just Philosophy 101 made simple and accessible, and the characters are just emotionless, literary archetypes.

    What type is Neo?
Certainly an Introvert, but he's too much of a blank slate to really nail down a type in my opinion. I suppose it's easy to just dismiss him as an ITP or INJ.
