    Extraverted Sensing causes us to perceive in terms of direct stimuli, becoming aware of the world in vivid detail moment to moment.

    Extraverted Intuiting causes us to perceive in terms of broader context, becoming aware of greater possibilities for meaning or behaviour.

    Introverted Sensing causes us to perceive in terms of what can be correlated with previous experience, becoming aware of what is stable or unchanging.

    Introverted Intuiting causes us to perceive in terms of underlying perspectives, becoming aware of new ways to perceive and redefine reality.

    Introverted Thinking causes us to reason in terms of situational logic, and to take notice of the individual variables that give rise to whatever is being perceived.

    • Ti+Ne: Becoming aware of greater possibilities for meaning or behaviour, in terms of situational logic and individual variables.
    • Ti+Se: Becoming aware of the world in vivid detail moment to moment, in terms of situational logic and individual variables.
    • Ti+Si: Becoming aware of what is stable or unchanging, in terms of situational logic and individual variables.
