Default Ni expressed in popular media

Could you Ni types give examples of Ni as expressed in popular media? i.e. in films, music, TV, books etc.

Just so I can get a better idea of what exactly is going on with this function.

Listen to Tool and A Perfect Circle.

    Also Alice in Wonderland.

I would say pretty much anything that requires you to totally change your mind set to fully appreciate and understand. Reading the complete works of Lewis Carrol is like Chicken Soup for the Ni soul for me.

Avant-garde are the words you're looking for.

I'd rather describe Ne as avant-garde actually.

I saw Lars von Trier's film Antichrist over Halloween weekend and that was some grisly Ni. The reimagined Battlestar Galactica was very Ni heavy as well.
Relationships have normal ebbs and flows. They do not automatically get better and better when the participants learn more and more about each other. Instead, the participants have to work through the tensions of the relationship (the dialectic) while they learn and group themselves and a parties in a relationships. At times the relationships is very open and sharing. Other time, one or both parties to the relationship need their space, or have other concerns, and the relationship is less open. The theory posits that these cycles occur throughout the life of the relationship as the persons try to balance their needs for privacy and open relationship.
