I suppose my text WAS a little dry... so the interpersonal gossip is livening things up a little?

To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft

No no your text was honest and direct. Very INTP
It's just that the lick finger and stab "there's your problem" produces as much of an ouch from an INTP as their usual victims, just not as often...

Let me just say that your excellent and insider's view of the pitfalls and traps of the psyche that is INTP is very astute. However without objective analysis giving milestones and signs etc (which is virtually impossible granted) it is very easy to convince oneself that there are problems looming or that everything is fine, depending on that readers disposition.

Now this condition is not abnormal. I find it in all really good pieces of psychological and philosophical writing. I was merely commenting on the discomfort like an idle "don't you always...." sort of chit chat thing.

You know I must be getting paranoid cause now I'm left wondering if you really were referring to my post or if I'm waffling on for no good reason.... probably a bit of both....meh.
Isn't it time for a colourful metaphor?

Well, it's not done, and I wanted it to be more useful. My mind is obviously elsewhere, though, and I'm having trouble abstracting unless I just put things down. So I will be revising and editing this thing until it's more useful.

PS. I'm still not sure who Linda is.

Who said it's not useful? What you don't learn by pain or doubt?
I just meant ouch. It's damn good. Don't you start going paranoid too!!
PS. I'm still not sure who Linda is.
It's gotta be the woman of negotiable favour. The other guy is her John.

But today is Tuesday, and the Space Shuttle blew up in 1985 on national television.

"Just do it" is the buzzword of the day... according to Hot Pockets.

(darn... not quite right, I have to dampen the 'goofy' quotient on my part and make it more nebulous)

    Oh that's much better.
(I'd still say "Who?" but I think I know who he's on about even if I don't recall anything solid about them)

FYI, they are the sources quoted for the INTJ analysis, which prompted Jen's INTP analysis.

How do people with INTJ preferences interact with other types?
This page is based on the work done by Dr. John Beebe who mapped Jungian archetypes to the hierarchy of Cognitive Processes, and subsequent research by Dr. Linda Berens.

    Really.
