Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)

But what if the moron(s) had 5 kids, and the youngest needed a new kidney?

I was actually thinking of ESTJ, but STJs are known to get into the medical field, and as a result they could easily become a psychiatrist. The person tells them their symptoms, they write a script, they get big bucks.

    There's a huge difference between a psycho-therapist and a psychiatrist.

Argh, I had the misfortune of having the most obnoxious ones (within the ESTJ grouping) as my 'self-elected' therapist back in high school. [Any student who showed signs of academic/emotional troubles would be automatically sent to the nearby counselor without their permission.] Nothing was more joyous than hearing someone else tell you why your visions are wrong, how you are feeling and what your plans ought be right down to the finest details. Express disagreement, and they will peg that behavior as teenage rebellion, or some psychological disorder without further examination. Thanks for selectively listening. It's the best antidote to cure the depressed.

Sarcasm aside, attentive listening, empathy and informing (over directing) are skills better suited for this profession. Sometimes it means the individual must set aside their stronger preferences and use their least preferred ones.
