    INFPs:

    - flora and fauna take on near-human qualities.

    Sorry to laugh.

This can't be true. (Can it?)

I'd be pissed if I were an INFP.

    1. How sure are you of your type? __%
    99% sure.

    2. Do you trust online profiles?
As an opinion, yes. They aren't as good as MBTI official profiles in my experience, though.

    INFP:
    - Strong sense of wonder
    - See life through rose coloured glasses (Sometimes. That, or cynicism.)
    - flora and fauna take on near-human qualities.
    - As children switch from reality to fantasy and back again
    - Almost always develop imaginary playmates as children
    - Sees the good in anything and everything, pity even the most unlovable things I do have an ability to find the good in things - I don't always use it.
    - Extreme depth of feeling is hidden from others (often even themselves), until sparked
    - Struggle with the issue of their own ethical perfection
    - An INFP friend describes the inner conflict as not good versus bad, but on a grand scale, Good vs. Evil (Good vs Evil is too simplistic. I do tend to dichotomize things, though.)
    - Have a gift for taking technical information and putting it into layman's terms.

    ENTP:
    - Clever !
    - Verbally, and cerebrally (is that actually a word?) quick.
    - Love to argue, often to show off their skills
    - Perverse Sense of Humor
    - Enjoy playing the Devils Advocate
    - Can confuse or hurt those who don't understand arguing as a sport
    - Innovative and ingenious at problem solving
    - Occasionally outsmart themselves
    - Cut corners with little regard for rules
    - Over ambitious, to the point that it can test the breaking point
    - Fond of toys, the more sophisticated the better, tend to get bored of them quickly and move on to newer ones
    - Optimistic, but tend to become extremely petulant about small setbacks and inconveniences
    - Major setbacks are regarded as challenges, and tackled with determination
    - ENTPs have little patience with those they consider wrongheaded or unintelligent, and show little restraint in demonstrating this.
    - Tend to be extremely genial, if not charming, when not being harassed by life in general.
    - Capable of bonding very closely and, initially, suddenly, with their loved ones
-( Appear to be deceptively offhand with their nearest and dearest), dont understand
    - Good at acquiring friends who are as clever and entertaining as they are.
    - ENTPs tend to be oblivious of the rest of humanity, except as an audience

As an interesting experiment, here's how much I relate to the ENFP profile (since it's the only other type I sometimes consider):

Rated from 1-10, 1 being not at all, and 10 being always

    ENFP:
    - Both "Idea" people and "people" people
    10

    - See everything in a bizarre cosmic whole

    1

    - Want to help and be liked and admired by people
    6

    - Interested in new ideas on principle, then ditch most of them for some reason or another

    2

    - Zany Charm
    7

    - Unconventional, but despite that, still able to fit in with stodgy types of people
    9

    - Outgoing, fun, generally like people.
    10

    - Easily intrigued and distracted by new friends and acquaintances, forgetting about the older ones for long stretches at a time.

    6

    - Less mature: may need to feel they are the center of attention all the time.
10 (I used to be like this when I was younger, but not anymore)

    - Strong Convictions

    3

    - They usually try to use their social skills and contacts to persuade people gently of the rightness of these views; his sometimes results in their neglecting their nearest and dearest while flitting around trying to save the world.
    1

    - Pleasant, easy going and fun to work with

    8

    - Good at brainstorming
    10

    - Procrastinators

    9

    - Lack follow-through

    9

    - Hate Bureaucracy (ie. administration, officials etc.)

    9

    - Soft Hearted
    5

    - Have a "silly switch", flicker between intellectual and captain wild child.

    10

    - Appear intoxicated when switch is on

    5

    - Natural propensity for role playing and acting.

    ???

    - Have a 'close enough is satisfactory' attitude

    1

    - All about friends

    6

    - Have difficulty being alone

    8

    - Hasty decisions based on deeply felt values may boil over with unpredictable results.

    5

    *shrug*
The probability that I was procrastinating when I was typing this post:

    P(have big assignment due) = 0.6
    P(posting on TypoC) = 0.2
P(having big assignment due | posting on TypoC) = 0.7

P(posting on TypoC | having big assignment due) = .......

    Eh, I'll finish it later.

    INFP

    - Strong sense of wonder. Not really.

    - See life through rose-coloured glasses. Not at all. Life is a struggle.

    - flora and fauna take on near-human qualities. Slightly.

    - As children switch from reality to fantasy and back again (rug-rats style) Yes, absolutely.

    - Almost always develop imaginary playmates (as children) Yes. They were in my head, though, not outwardly present.

    - Sees the good in anything and everything, pity even the most unlovable things Somewhat. Disapproval usually overrides empathy.

    - Extreme depth of feeling is hidden from others (often even themselves), until sparked Yes, kind of.

    - Struggle with the issue of their own ethical perfection. Not so much ethical perfection as perfection in general.

    - An INFP friend describes the inner conflict as not good versus bad, but on a grand scale, Good vs. Evil I don't have that kind of inner conflict. I feel that conflict with society, which often seems prejudiced and small-minded.

    - Have a gift for taking technical information and putting it into layman's terms. I like to think so, at least.

I know I'm an INFP, but I relate more to the INFJ profile. The INTP description sounds kind of like me, too, but maybe not as much as the INFP does.

    2. Do you trust online profiles? Some are much better than others. Overall, .. not really

    ENFP:
    - Both "Idea" people and "people" people
8 - Probably more on the "Idea" side, but I've got my balance.

    - See everything in a bizarre cosmic whole
9 - Ties into what my personal definition of what God really is. See also: Spinozism. I've thought way too much about this stuff.

    - Want to help and be liked and admired by people
9 - Way too much emphasis on this, but I'm getting better.

    - Interested in new ideas on principle, then ditch most of them for some reason or another
    7

    - Zany Charm
7 - More often than not, but sometimes I have to "turn it on."

    - Unconventional, but despite that, still able to fit in with stodgy types of people
    7

    - Outgoing, fun, generally like people.
7 - Most of the time, yeah

    - Towards SOs
*warm, affectionate (lots of PDA), and disconcertingly spontaneous.
9 - this is pretty much the definition of my relationships
    *sort attention span, short relationships
1 - Not at all, no

    - Easily intrigued and distracted by new friends and acquaintances, forgetting about the older ones for long stretches at a time.
8 - This happens a lot, but my older friends have a way of drawing me back in, or I'll feel guilty about not having talked to them and give them a call.

    - Less mature: may need to feel they are the center of attention all the time.
6 - Center of attention is not often my thing. Appreciation is, though.

    - Strong Convictions
6 - Not as strong as some others'; I often "live and let live." I have a strong conviction when it comes to others not doing the same, though.

    - They usually try to use their social skills and contacts to persuade people gently of the rightness of these views; his sometimes results in their neglecting their nearest and dearest while flitting around trying to save the world.
5 - And I've got my humanitarian causes, but.. .. nah. Whatever I'm involved with, my nearest and dearest often is, too.

    - Pleasant, easy going and fun to work with
7 - Very easygoing, yeah, and I try to inject a bit of fun into my work.. especially on group projects.

    - Good at brainstorming
    9 - At least, I think I am.

    - Procrastinators
7 - Often struggle with discipline in this area. I'm never late, but I'm often close to deadlines.

    - Lack follow-through
    3

    - Hate Bureaucracy (ie. administration, officials etc.)
9 - Bueraucracy makes me want to stab myself.

    - Soft Hearted
8 - For the most part, yeah. I find myself unable to give objective criticism.

    - Have a "silly switch", flicker between intellectual and captain wild child.
8 - No reason for captain wild child when I'm around other people, though.

    - Appear intoxicated when switch is on
9 - I'm naturally relaxed, and I can come off as high or drunk in most cases.

    - Natural propensity for role playing and acting.
3 - Doesn't come up too often, but I jump at the chance when it does. It's not something I actively seek, though.

    - Have a 'close enough is satisfactory' attitude
5 - I'm usually pretty diligent and leave the details to those who don't mind taking care of them.

    - All about friends
4 - Nah. I can forget about most people, except family and SO, for extended periods of time. They don't often seem to mind. I DO like skimming over Facebook to get the lowdown.

    - Have difficulty being alone
3 - Nah. But then, when I'm alone, I'm typically also in a chatroom

    - Hasty decisions based on deeply felt values may boil over with unpredictable results.
2 - Never really had this happen. I often think through my decisions.

    ENTP:
    - Clever
9 - I'm pretty much defined for my Macguyverisms, especially when it relates to work and software.

    - Verbally, and cerebrally (is that actually a word?) quick.
    8 - I catch on pretty quickly.

    - Love to argue, often to show off their skills
1 - Not really my thing.

    - Perverse Sense of Humor
    1 - This, either.

    - Enjoy playing the Devils Advocate
    1 - Nor this.

    - Can confuse or hurt those who don't understand arguing as a sport
1 - No, because I understand those who don't understand arguing as a sport. Most debates are usually freaking pointless anyway.

    - Innovative and ingenious at problem solving
    9

    - Occasionally outsmart themselves
9 - I often do something and then fear that I missed some detail, when my intuition really just filled in the blanks for me.

    - Cut corners with little regard for rules
9 - I ignore or get around rules when I can, yeah.

    - Over ambitious, to the point that it can test the breaking point
9 - My entire research career has basically been a product of "Hey, how much more responsibility can I handle? Won't that be fun!?"

    - Fond of toys, the more sophisticated the better, tend to get bored of them quickly and move on to newer ones
9 - I distinctly remember wondering how long it would take for me to regard my new Android G1 phone as a "piece of crap." Took about two months before it reached my limit.

    - Optimistic, but tend to become extremely petulant about small setbacks and inconveniences
10 - I've never seen such a great description for my overall demeanor.

    - Major setbacks are regarded as challenges, and tackled with determination
    9 - Pretty much, yeah.

    - ENTPs have little patience with those they consider wrongheaded or unintelligent, and show little restraint in demonstrating this.
2 - Not.. not really, no.

    - Tend to be extremely genial, if not charming, when not being harassed by life in general.
    9

    - Capable of bonding very closely and, initially, suddenly, with their loved ones
8 - Sometimes, yeah. The stronger the love, the stronger this ability is.

    - Appear to be deceptively offhand with their nearest and dearest
    2 - Nah.

    - Good at acquiring friends who are as clever and entertaining as they are.
    4 - Yeah, but it's not a priority.

    - ENTPs tend to be oblivious of the rest of humanity, except as an audience
    2 - Nah.
