I's precocious self-image vs E's 'taking it all'
Maybe in my imagination, but I noted these things about E vs I yesterday.
The premise being more or less: what can you say / what can't you say in a conversation, how deep can you go, in how far is it offensive to the other person if the one mentions things the other can't quite understand...
-I's compete with eachother over what they have to compensate, each their strategy
-E's simply don't have to compensate, they 'take it all' - because or as long as they are socially satisfied they can deal with more of a person
-This is why I's are always aware (are their tactics protected?)
-The image an I has of himself is precocious
-E's simply stay who/how/what they are (being on the contrary foregoing)
-I's can pretty well tease or push eachother (because they present an image / knowledge that they actually are/have not yet); this may make I's feel like a failure
-I's may think E's hold them back, while E's actually grant them (E's just remind the I's of former versions of themselves)
-I's live beyond, in front
-E's 'deal', admit/confess to who they are
-I's empty out their need/energy; E's cherish it / live it (out)
I could be awfully beside the point, probably mostly in what I attribute to E vs I, and in the unclarified premise, but I think it sketches a picture.
