I scan the world looking for patterns, connections, and interrelationships between people objects and events - 5
I notice missing parts or steps in patterns - 5
External events trigger my awareness of potential, alternatives, or patterns that provide me with the basis for change - 3 (this does happen, but I wouldn't say it's a hallmark of my personality to have external events provide me with the basis for change)
I see ways to change incongruous patterns, connections and interrelationships - 5
I take existing ideas and link them together in new and interesting ways - 5 (Could this not be NiTe?)
I generate usable possibilities for change in the external world - 5 (Could this not be NiTe?)
I am constantly looking for ways to change things to make them better and have little energy for maintaining things as they are - 5 (Could this not be NiTe?)
I usually find something positive to see in most situations - 5 (Is this really an Ne trait?!?)

    38/40 = 95%

Who knows whether many of these are just functional mimicry caused by NiTe somewhat resembling Ne, or whether I actually use Ne.

It seems very difficult to tell the difference...

What I can honestly say is that most of these do not sound nearly as resonant with my personality as the Ni descriptions did.

Yes, I did just now. I score high Fi and Fe though, so perhaps yours is a similar phenomena - Fi feels like a hand in a glove however, just rings true. Do you feel like these "ring true"?
