Mother: ISFJ
Father: ESTJ
Sister 1: INFJ
Sister 2: ESFJ
Me: INTJ

The best I can get on with my INFJ-sister for we've some personality traits in common. I like my mother for her introverted nature and my father for his practical and logical sense. With my ESFJ-sister there have been some clashes but mostly we'll manage just fine (as long as we're not for too much time in the same room ;)).

MBTI-types of friends are difficult.. I know a study friend is INTP for she has tested herself. Rest of my friends I have to guess myself. I think ISFP and xNFP.

From oldest to youngest in my family

Dad - ISTP
Mom -ESFJ
Myself-INTP (I may be the only intuitive in my immediate family depending on what my brother is)
Sister- ISFP
Brother- IXFP (my brother is a lot like my sister but I'm not entirely sure if he is intuitive or sensing)

My friends are all sorts of types, but one thing in common is they are usually extroverts. I do have a couple introverted friends but making friends with introverts is difficult for me, because of my own introversion. I don't enjoy starting conversations, and I'm not sure most introverts do either.

I can start a conversation, but I would prefer not to.

Family

Mom: ESFJ
Dad: INTP

Friends

ESFJ - She and I are opposite in every way, but it works. There are times we butt heads, but we both have thick skin, and since we both enjoy a general semblance of peace in our relationships, any conflict is smoothed over quickly. My other close friends have all but written her off at this point, but there's merit in our bond, and she is a genuinely fun person to talk with.

ISFJ - Her type is actually all over the place, but I somewhat arbitrarily decided ISFJ is closest. Maybe I should start a thread on her. Anyways. She's probably the one I connect the most with, spiritually.

ISFJ - I'm confident she's an ISFJ. She reminds me a lot of my mom, but she's more self-effacing and introverted. She's really funny, though.

INTJ - My dear, dear friend. I don't talk to her as often as I should, but given our types, it's not too much a surprise that we can go months without speaking and then talk to each other like a day hasn't passed. She often goes on tangents and rants that range from the humorously absurd to the more cosmological and profound. Things are so simple and uncomplicated with her. It is marvelous.

INFP - THIS GUY. Is basically an INTP, but it's just because he's obsessively cerebral. Neurotic, awful at communicating with people, and flighty. I worry about him, but he's funny, and when we chat it's always a pleasant time.

Boyfriend

ENTP - Really, really great guy. I feel a lot for him, and it's nice to know that someone has my back.

Those two I'm confident of, as we've both taken tests. My brother I'd query as being an ExFx, possibly an ESFP. My dad is really hard to type. Possibly INFJ, but I'm not at all sure.

Prate/rant/twaddle (I'm not a native english speaker) in spoiler:

It's difficult to tell if the people I hang out with are extroverts or not.

Me: not sure, something like INxx, INFP most common on tests, but i got INFJ also
Mother: ESTJ
Father and sister: ESFP

I don't have good relations with family, i am not close to them at all and i even find it difficult to talk to them because they believe i am not serios and not capable to understand anything. My mother doesn't accept alternative thinking and if something is not official or common, she calls it stupid. I find it too rigid and even shallow.
Father is totally different type, he is 50 years old, but dress like teenager (and he is profesor :D ).

My best friends are INTP and ENFJ. Other friends are mostly NT types.

My Children in order: ENFp (F), ISTP (M), ESFP (Downs M), iNFP (M), INfP (F)
The child most like me is #5 and we can talk for hours without disagreeing on very much at all.
I would think almost all Downs are ESFP - certainly the stereotypical ones.
The Male at #2 is not a typical ISTP being even more introverted than I am - which is scarcely possible.
The two INFPs are not alike at all

Interesting thread!

Mum - ENFP (confirmed)
Dad - ENTJ (confirmed)
Both with fairly high introversion though.

My friends tend to be INFP or ENFJ. F's of some kind anyway.
