My mom is an ISFP, and my dad is most likely an ISFJ or INFJ, or possibly throw a P in there as well. Not as J-type as I am, that's all I know, but still is somewhat. It can be difficult when they both typically are more sensitive than logical, and it's been that way since a very young age. I remember when I was really little, I said something mean to my dad, and my mom said to me, "You hurt his feelings." And I'm like, what kind of body part is that? I mean, I've heard of a face and arms and stuff, but what's a feelings?
More recently, it translates to something more like, I do something with little regard to what might be most emotionally and overall convenient for them and other family members, they get upset, I don't understand, but I've gotta do what I've gotta do.
