    Me (Female): INTP

    Mother: ENFJ
    Father: INTJ

    (No siblings)

Mother: ISFJ (I guessed her type but she's also taken the test a couple times & gotten this result) She's got a big heart. Unfortunately emotionally unstable, possibly has Borderline Personality Disorder. Highly perfectionistic. Was very encouraging, though highly critical, of me & my brother during our early childhood. Dysfunction didn't really rear its head until we were a little older.

Father: ENTx (though I'm not sure how much he infuenced my typing; he was in the Navy & out to sea a lot; died when I was 9) Guessing his type based on my memories, home movies, and letters. I think he was 50/50 on J/P; he was very orderly, but at the same time he had a wonderful spontanaeity about him... very dry humor, pushed us to do our best with everything.

Brother: ESTP - Born 2yrs before me. He died in '03 so I obviously can't get him to take the test. We were really close; partners in crime, and total opposites who understood one another incredibly well.

Me: INFJ (according to the concept of birth order, this makes a fair amount of sense to me. Younger siblings often deviate from their older siblings' habits to distinguish their own identity; etc.)

The majority of my friends are iNtuitive types.
My closest friend is an INTP.

The one exception being the girl I used to live across the street from, when I moved to this area 12yrs ago. We have a sibling-type bond. She's an ESFP. She pulls me into unexpectedly interesting situations, and I pull her into unexpectedly deep conversations. Takes a little time and prodding from both sides, but it's worthwhile.

02/16 23:49:38 ygolo: Lex is afk

    Family dinner conversations:

Dinner with my father and two sisters is an interesting event. Well actually, there's never much life to it, but it would probably be either funny or painful to watch from the outside.

There's a mainly STJ atmosphere in the house. That's because we are:
    ISTJ
    ISTJ
    INTJ
    ESTJ
So what does the conversation look like? Someone starts telling a story from their day, usually my ESTJ sister. We all make comments, analyzing what happened, the mistakes made, the possible alternatives that person could have chosen. Then we settle into a solution, and the problem is solved.

Now we wait for someone to bring up another story, then we go through the process again.

Maybe it's not that different from other families' dinner conversations, when I think about it. It was just funny, as I finally realized that's how we do things.
You can't spell "justice" without ISTJ.

I think my mother is most likely and INFJ, and I feel very lucky in that. While our relationship is far from perfect, there is a strong understanding on BOTH sides (often transcending words), and I appreciate that. As far as everyone else, I'm not really sure, but I know they differ a lot from me.

My best friend is an ISTP, and while I love him to death, he can be terribly frustrating.

    Me: INTJ

    What types are your family
*shrugs* No clue. Not sure I am even interested.

    ...and friends?
~ Male Roomie (known for 5 years): ISFP <-- quite annoying sometimes

~ (Best) Male Friend: INTP "with well balanced N/S and low P, in NF costume" (to quote him ) <-- works perfectly

~ Some others are ENFP, ENFJ, INFJ, INFP (all male) <-- works

~ Female Friend: ENFP <-- works perfect
~ Female Friend: INTJ <-- works goooood, even if we only talk occasionally
~ Female Friend: INFx <-- works great too, even if we only talk rarely
Rule #1: Driver picks the music. Shotgun shuts his cakehole.

Again, Demons I get, but people are just crazy.

    ESTP? o.O

Some of these are speculations, because they either refused to take the test, or can't for various reasons...But I'm at least 95% sure about all of them...

    Me - INFJ

    Father - ENTJ

Mother - INFJ (we are very close)

Grandma on Dad's side - ENFJ

Grandpa on Dad's side - ENTJ

Grandma on Mom's side - ENFJ

Grandpa on Mom's side - INFJ

Room-mate for two years - Tested as ENTJ, but feels he filled it out incorrectly because he is pretty introverted and very in touch with his emotions...FWIW, the type description which I feel fits him best is actually ISFJ...I'll try to get him to take it again sometime.

I have at least three close friends who are ENFJs (and one teacher I got along with pretty well, was ENFJ, but just BARELY extroverted, like 2 points) so pretty much xNFJ. Another teacher, who I worked with for a long time, is an ENTJ.

Also, I am an only child, which is why I have no sibling types.
