How exactly do I understand my enneagram results?
And, hwo might enneagram effect family dynamics?
Like, what is 9 w 1 so vs. 9 w 1 sx?
Or, can you be 9 w 4? Or would that just mean you were unhealthy? Would it mean anything?

...I'm confused.

You have your main type, which is 1-9.

Then you have your wing, which has to be a type adjacent to your main type. So 1 or 8 for a type 9.

Then you have your instinct, which can be self preservation (sp), social (so), or sexual (sx).

Like my type is 5w4 sp. Which means type 5 with 4 wing self preservation instinct.

Your wing has to be a number next to it, I believe. I don't think there is possible for there to be a 9w4.

Ok, so, how would you figure out how your enneagram type, plus wing, plus dominant whatever (I consistently test as a 4 w 5, with SP though I don't know quite enough about the types and whatnot to entirely trust it. It seems like enneagram is good at identifying what is wrong or potentially wrong with you, what your issues are), meant exactly? What it would tell an informed person who found out. Because all these letters are just a quick way to tell people about yourself, or a "self-for-dummies" quick annalysis for those of us who don't naturally know everything about ourselves, or want to be able to explain it better. Right?

Self actualization? Enneagram seems to describe how people act, so in a way it's like MBTI in that it explains parts of you to yourself.
