I think it's an instinctive response - most of the time, I don't even notice that I'm touching someone. I love to embrace people.

Freaky...how do you not notice you are touching people?
Seriously, I'm super curious, because I'm so hyper aware when anyone even accidentally brushes past me. I actually find it extremely difficult to hug people, unless they are really close to me (then they can hugs me all they wants), but it means a lot to me to be hugged and it's not given easily.
I'm kinda envious of people who give out hugs left right and center.
