    Exclamation Now Hear This

    Types don't "have" anything.

    I'm tired of hearing "ENTPs have Fe and Ti" or "ISTJ has Fi"

    It doesn't work that way you guys.
    It's not about posession.

    Is this about semantics?

    Because every type uses every function. Depending on the subject matter, one's proficiency (2 strongest functions) might matter more or less.

    Yes and no.
    I'm not being one of those grammar bitches.

    It's irritating because it displays (and later causes) poor understanding.
    If we speak this way, it gives the impression that a type is a mindset, or... a decision or something like that.

    It's not.

    Because every type uses every function.
    This is the correct reference.

    I asked if it was about semantics because I wanted to know if you were saying "ENTPs don't use Fe or Ti".

    That's right. Technically, if anyone has the functions, it would be CAPT. CAPT has them, they just let us use them. People who are typed as XXXX use functions Xx, Yy, and Zz.

    I'm just going to refer to the functions as magic spells.

    I now cast Fi.
    * no effect *
    Hmm, grammar must be strong against Fi. Damn.
