What traits do you admire most in others? What traits do you consider to be the worst? It would be interesting to compare and contrast each of the types. After enough entries I plan to make organize all the responses by type and see how it pans out.

1. State your MBTI type

2. Describe what you admire most in others

3. Describe what you find most deplorable in others.

4. Enjoy! :party2:

2. Describe what you admire most in others

Considerate
Nurturing
Generosity
Kindness
Romantics
Dreamers
Animal lovers
Courage
Responsible
Critical Thought
Sane mind, soft heart.
Quiet nature

People who see both the life of the body and the life of the spirit as intertwined.

People who have the will to be true to themselves (within the bounds of not hurting others or being selfish) without fear of the opinions of others.

People who allow themselves to face both the negative and positive in life.

People who appreciate nature.

Those who work to protect the weak against the oppressors of the world.

Those who care for those who are in pain or sick with compassion and patience.

The sudden little wisdoms that children come up with.

3. Describe what you find most deplorable in others.

Religious fanatics and militant atheists

abusers
manipulators
selfish people
tyrants
sadists
Dogma
Ritualism

People who deny or make excuses for evil.

Smart people who play dumb to avoid facing truth in life.

Smart people who won't learn or think for themselves because they are lazy.

The little socialized psychopaths in the world who hide their sick, senseless ego trip power games behind a smiling sugar sweet facade.

The simpering little quislings who enable the above mentioned socialized psychopaths to build their little king/queendoms. (I probably deplore these people more than the actual psychopath, without them what power could the little psycopaths have?)

Mindless conformity (other than basic morality or common sense politeness)

4. Enjoy! :party2:

:coffee: ;) Too early for party for me. :)

2. Generousity, intelligence, conscientiousness, creativity, a childlike love of anything they're interested in, a desire to learn, loyalty but a willingness to push someone when they need it. When someone is a really excellent tactitian and strategist, but not necessarily ruthless. When someone readily dicusses how much they appreciate their SO...just pleases me to hear it since so many tend to opt to complain about them in public.

3. Hedonism. People who lie incessantly. People who say that how you feel about something is "illogical" and therefore null and void. People who don't read. An absolute lack of compassion for other people in general. When people try to exact a disproportionate punishment to a crime. People who think they can get away with anything because they're famous and/or rich.

The bolded trait fascinates me because i haven't ever heard that before as a deplorable trait. Just out of curiosity, what is the assumed motive you see in someone who chooses to be a loner? What makes joining a pack 'just for the sake of it' a better choice? It is worth mentioning that there is always a reason why someone chooses to be alone. Whether that reason is understood and/or valued is another issue.

By "breaking away from the pack" I didn't mean choosing to be alone or anything like that. I meant when people just decide they're different, special, etc, than everyone else, or when they decide to cause disharmony just for the sake of it.

Rebellion?

Basically.

Pointless rebellion. I mean, when a system works fine, unless you can think of one seriously fundamentally better, and are going to actually endorse it...what's wrong with being another ant in the hill?
