The J's dominate. INTJs and INFJs have, by far, the best perfomance. |

If so, does anyone else find it very... INTP... to be both liberal arts and engineering dominants? *edit: Asking if it was the SAT entrance exam that was measured and decided to go to Ball state, or if it was the actual performance in the university. |

These stats were kind of confusing. I have by the way made some IQ estimations myself. Even though I doubt my own methods, the results doesn't seem too far off:
1 INTJ 113 2 INFJ 112 3 ENTJ 109 4 ENFJ 107 5 INFP 105 6 INTP 104 7 ISTJ 104 8 ENTP 102 9 ESTJ 100 10 ENFP 97 11 ISFJ 95 12 ESFJ 94 13 ISTP 91 14 ISFP 88 15 ESTP 88 16 ESFP 85 They were made purely for fun. I compared the member numbers of each type in Mensa, compared it to the general population, and used normal distribution math to come up with these numbers. Yes, it's not perfect ... |

You're shitting me. Even my IQ is 156 (as of two years ago), and I've taken one of those hardcore, legal test thingies. And I would think that I would be a less-than-average human being. v_v

Haha, seems like you are not. If that is ratio IQ (deviation IQ would mean you are even smarter), it means you are more intelligent than about 999/1000 (since you are ENFP I bet you are not just smart too, but have a broad range of talents, contrary to many INTJs like myself, although focus is probably not your strongest suit). But sure, I often wonder too where the 50 % with an IQ below 100 is (the average IQ of my friends are something like 125). But just because I rarely see them doesn’t mean they don’t exist, I guess.

In general, I agree with you. However, Ptgatsby notes a tendency for Ns to have higher IQ scores, though not necessarily, because it's generally agreed that people who have high IQs or are seen as smart are more likely to misidentify as Intuitive by associating it with being smart. He also mentioned that people who have low IQs tend to go on to develop Sensory smarts rather than Intuitive smarts.
People may have low IQs because of a lack of exposure to certain parts of the world, most likely due to cultural differences. Even "Culture Fair" IQs have a cultural bias. Culture Fair IQs tend to be the ones with sequential patterns. And believe it or not, you have to learn to determine the patterns properly in order to score correctly. Proper logical thinking isn't innate. IQs can actually change through time. Although IQ tests do test ability relative to age level, education and a broader mind can increase that.
