Default How can a quality become itself if it is already itself?

A valid question posed by athenian.

Initiation is not about the order.
It is about direction.
Order is independent of direction.

I think I see. Qualities are in some sense dynamic rather than static, always moving in a direction, even if that direction leads it back to where it started. So when you say that it is becoming, you talk about where it is going, not how it is now.

Is that right?

Do not all things have a beginning and end? A start and finish?

Read, if you please, at your earliest convenience: The Last Question -- Isaac Asimov

It might be my favorite work of fiction, period.

Is that right?
Yes.
Quality is the basic differentiation.
The hand.
The dynamics of space.

Quantity is of space alone.
Distinction is not order.
Direction is back already.

The subject does not differentiate the object.
The object does differentiate the subject.

The set is the order.
The outset is what it says to be.
Out of the set. Not of the order.

You are you, and yet you become yourself. Layers within layers, plots within plots.
