I wrote this some time ago, and had forgotten about it (so it isn't my religion, by any means). Consider it food for thought.
It takes any function "order" down to two axes. It combines introverted and extroverted functions into one function. "Intuition," for example. Example: If you're INTP, then your primary function axis is Intuition/Thinking, secondary Sensing/Feeling, your focus is Introverted, and your operations are perceptive. In other words, NT>SF (I,P) INTP: NT>SF (I, P) INTJ: NT>SF (I, J) ENTP: NT>SF (E, P) ENTJ: NT>SF (E, J) INFP: NF>ST (I, P) INFJ: NF>ST (I, J) ENFP: NF>ST (E, P) ENFJ: NF>ST (E, J) ISTP: ST>NF (I, P) ISTJ: ST>NF (I, J) ESTP: ST>NF (E, P) ESTJ: ST>NF (E, J) ISFP: SF>NT (I, P) ISFJ: SF>NT (I, J) ESFP: SF>NT (E, P) ESFJ: SF>NT (E, J) It's really quite simple. I'm not following you. To me, it seems like just a complex way to organize something that has been easily organized already. Or am I missing the point?

I think you are. It's a way of describing something like traditional functions, but not traditional functions. To remove the Everest-like mountain of confusion. Not that everyone's going to adopt this tomorrow and we'll be fine.
Moved up: It combines introverted and extroverted functions into one function. "Intuition," for example. Last edited by Jack Flak; 09-16-2008 at 08:35 AM. |
