Default Ti vs. Te <split>

Split from Mistyped Memberz.

As an extra thought: where is his Te? When TJ types make an argument they get to the point quickly. They generally don't spell out their entire reasoning process like BlueWing does. BlueWing is Ti overload.

I'm one of the people who has said it. For an xNTP, Ne can take all of their thoughts and boil them down into a shorter form that is easy to understand while preserving the essence of the argument. BlueWing doesn't do that very well. He shares his entire thought process with you. That is one clear way that his Ne is underdeveloped.

That's a good question. I guess people equate Te with lacking finesse, sort of like a big ol' military tank. I can see some of this in BlueWing's posts, but they still don't get to the point quickly at all.

Te is kind of like a tank. It lacks finesse only because tanks don't need finesse. If Te lacks finesse, it's only so the point can be made quickly without time being wasted. Ti is usually less efficient than Te. Ti is more about careful reasoning than efficient reasoning.

Ti is and meandering.

Whenever I read a Ti dominant writer I want to scream!!!

"Get to the effin' point!!!!"

Ti ~ Legalese

Te ~ Summareze

Unforunately, your impatience probably results in you missing a lot of small, but crucial points, which causes the discussion to degrade into mischaracterizations and back-tracking.

MP.

You need to honestly check yourself.

You have explicitly taken numerous pot-shots at me in the past week.

one good thing to say about Te, though, is that it's relevant.

i functions are thorough at the expense of relevance
e functions are relevant at the expense of thoroughness.

If by "thorough" you mean convoluted and redundant, and by "shallow and incomplete" you mean concise and clear, then yeah, I totally agree!!
