Good question. It would depend on how astronomically far sp-first can stretch beyond the standard definitions depending on type...what is your favorite well-rounded source on the variants?

I don't have a favorite well-rounded source. You seem more sp/sx to me though. You seem like the type of person that tends to keep people at an arm's length but yet can also enjoy intensity at the same time. The best test that I have seen for instinctual variants tends to be this one...

I don't really know what I am on this thing but I experienced a lot of limerence as a younger person. I read Elfboy's descriptions and I'd say I'm more so than sx, but maybe I should look at some other resources before deciding that.

Anyhow, from my cumulative understanding, I still think my so is on top of my sx (usually I wear so/sx). But taking another look at sp was a good tip that I will probe more on my own.

I think limerence is a human biological phenomenon, not a sx-first phenomenon. I think you're confusing "infatuation" with the sx instinct here, and that's going to throw off prospective typees who are teenagers and in love with someone, to be perfectly honest.

So, no I don't see what you're talking about. See my other entries for more details.

And so long as you haven’t experienced this: to die and so to grow,

Hmm. Yeah that's been my experience with ISFP's. Once I like them they get uncomfortable and stop talking to me.
