I don't think Light Yagami shows enough desire to connect with someone else to be anything than Sx last. Sp often wants to extend their own needs of safety to others, either to a broader community (So) or intimates (Sx), and Light wishes to create a safe environment (by his standards) for the people inhabiting this world. Sp/So for him.

Light does not care about personal connection at all, not even with the girl who was both his intellectual match and a supporter of Kira. Sp/Sx would have a strictly personal outlook on life, while Light considers society a higher priority than intimacy or connection. He's trying to create a new societal order that is "safe". Where do you see any Sx?

he wanted no personal connection with Misa because she was
    1) a bitch
    2) using her for his plans, he couldn't afford to get attached to her
    3) annoying
    4) intellectual match? are you kidding me. she was nothing but a shallow, naive little girl.

Light's Sx side comes out much more indirectly. his movements, the way he talks, the way he dresses all have subtle hints of Sx in him. Sp/Sx types exhibit intimacy with others only after they "latch" onto someone they deem worthy. no one in that show was worthy of his affection save maybe Takada (she was my favorite character, I wish he killed Misa instead of her) so his Sx remained indirect

Light: possibly (I'm still not convinced)
Qui-Gon: hell no. He might be Sx/Sp, but there is no way in hell he is an Fe dom.
    - he is not extroverted
    - he uses lots of Te
    - no Fe. he uses Fi. he does what he thinks is right and has no place for useless rules, traditions or social protocol
    - ENFJ 8w9 Sx/So is exactly the same type as Martin Luther King. they are not alike at all
    - for similar reasons to not having Fe, I believe he is So last
    Obi-wan: actually, Sp/So sounds right
    Gambit: I think he's ISTP

He is extrovert, he love interact with people and don't feel drained by social contact in any way, at the contrary, he's a smooth and empatic man who is exrtremely good at connect with people emotionally. He don't care about logic and rationality in the way that INTJ do. Fe challenges and impose values, don't necessarly follow rules, especially when combined with Ni. He don't care at all about self-preservation, he's actually reckless and don't care about being reasonable. He's more similar with MLK that you seem to imagine, also some other 8w9 Sx/So are very similar to him (except that as a jedi, Qui-Gon don't fuck).

Gambit is awesome, so, I can of course see him as an ISTP , but he's more in the smooth operator role even if he's more quiet than most ESTPs, in comparaison with Logan, a true ISTP, Logan is more cerebral, even if as 7w8 Sx/Sp, he's more intense.
