Damn that was a long show!! Beautiful pics though, I LOVE cave exploring.. really liked the pic where the moss looks like a river on the forest floor there.

BEST THREAD TITLE IN THE HISTORY OF THREAD TITLES.

Gorgeous photos. I took a Geology minor and considered changing it to my major so your slideshow brought back good memories.

I considered it, too, but I'm fairly certain the chemistry, high-level math, and physics would kill me. Literally. Oh, and I totally stole the title from a Girls Gone Wild commercial, so I can't take the credit for it... heh

That's pretty much the same reason I decided against it, too. I took Mineralogy and had to drop it because I just wasn't getting the chemistry aspect of it. So I stuck to the more theory-oriented classes taught by the guy who discovered evidence of the earliest known supercontinent, Ur. (At least it was the earliest known in 1997 when I was taking classes with him, but his research seemed to indicate there could not have been another earlier one.) He was rad.

I couldn't get the slides to operate very well for me, but the ones I saw looked interesting.

I'm very interested in rocks. I decided against a Geology major for the same reasons others have mentioned.
