Thanks! I saw a couple people call it a Chipping Sparrow, which is just plain nonsense.

Those two sparrows look very similar with only slight differences in the shape of the beak. The house sparrow appears to have a slightly longer beak. The one in the Brooks photo could very well be a chipping sparrow.

The chest feathers of the female HOSP are a darker shade of gray. The chest feathers of the Chipping Sparrow are brighter. It's true that the beaks are different, but the one in the OP is hard to see.
