Okay, so I can't find poblano peppers anywhere. I was wondering if there's a pepper with a similar taste and heat level I can use.
This has no doubt happened to you, too. You are getting ready to make something, but you realize you've forgotten an ingredient. Or maybe you can't find an ingredient in any of your stores. Or maybe you're allergic to an ingredient. Whatever the case, it's annoying.
Anyway, I thought maybe we could use this thread to ask other knowledgeable people what sort of foods we could use in place of a certain ingredient. Sort of like a food help center.
Don't worry, I promise I'll contribute to this thread when other people need help.
