    Nah, styrofoam is environmentally evil. Paper would be an ok choice, but then there are other dishes and pans which would need washed.

    And then there's that big gap under the counter which would need filled.


    I've purchased the Bosch Ascenta (model SHE3AR56UC) just because it's essentially the same as what I had in the previous house, and it seemed fine.

    And I need to leave now to pick it up before the store clos...

    I agree, we have Whirlpool (because I like to support locally made stuff) but there was a Maytag here when we bought the house. It ran very well for 5+ years and wasn't new. For $500, I'd give it a go.
    I like to rock n' roll all night and *part* of every day. I usually have errands... I can only rock from like 1-3.

    The Bosch is very quiet, considering it's a lower-end model in their product line.

    I suppose when whirlpool was still American. But Korean company owns it now, if I am not mistaken.
