    Default Need Hair curling advice

My hair is hopeless. I used to have big fluffy natural curls but somehow it just won't go curly or hold curls anymore. This has only happened in the last 3 years. I've tried every curling method I know of - irons, wands, pin curls, dry rollerset, wet rollerset, gobs of hairspray or holding liquids, the curls just won't hold, after about an hour they fall straight. What do I do? Please help.

Curling seems like so much trouble, and I like straight hair. Maybe you should just let it go.

Anyhow, I'm not actually being useful at all, so I'll bow out to others.
    Go to sleep, iguana.

If you're that set on curls.. get a perm, maybe?
(if you have the money for it/your hair is in good condition/you find a reputable salon, it seems like it'd ultimately yield the most consistent results, as well as be the most time-saving, in the longterm)

I did a musical in college, set in the 30s or something, and we were supposed to have curls. My hair curls on its own, but one of the other girls/women had stick straight hair that wouldn't hold a curl no matter what. She finally got some curls to stay using these sort of bendy foam things. I think she used gel with wet hair with the foam thingies and then let it dry completely before removing them/gently separating, but I'm not positive on the method of product application that she used.

Your kisses, sweeter than honey. But guess what, so is my money.

Sleep in foam rollers just like grandma.

My hair is straight as a stick and this is the only thing that works for me. When I bother to do it. Which is almost never, it's like an uphill battle, and while some people prefer my hair fluffed up, I'm not sure if I agree.

Leave it natural. Straight healthy hair looks much better than damaged curly hair.

I know that braiding my hair when it's wet, applying a little hair spray, then letting it set overnight makes it super wavy. Also gives a lot of body. Idk if that's the look you're going for, tho.
