To different degrees, they all suck (assuming a male will be using).

thanks :)

that said, I'm not really going for "cute". I'm going more for
- mature
- sophisticated
- subtly androgynous

Yeah definitely stick with a choker. That's more androgynous, and I think more sophisticated.

Low hanging necklaces on men make me think of hippies or guys named Larry who hang out at the disco.

I like Nerd Girl's pick for androgynous.

err the first pick she made

HOW IS A LOW HANGING NECKLACE ANDROGYNOUS ON A MAN?

It's totally effeminate. He should pick that low-hanging necklace if he plans on running around in a dress and heels (and he's not that sort of gay man) OR if he plans on buying some long white robes for meditation in the desert.

let's be real though, all of those necklaces are very effeminate.

These all look kinda tacky, Elfboy, no offence. Maybe you should go with something metal, it would look more sophisticated.

No offense Elfboy, but they all look pretty damn feminine to me. I've seen more manly jewelry on "America's Next Top Model" for God's sake. But if you held a gun up to my head, I'd pick the second one.

I think he's going for an 80s James Spader slightly "beach" look. I personally think it's stylish. But perhaps a shark's tooth on a gold chain would be more understated. Or he could go with the metal. Without the hanging thingies.

I just wanted to say that every time I see Fredrik Eklund on "Million Dollar Listing New York" I imagine that to be Elfboy 10-15 years from now. I love watching him because he's good looking, gay, dresses sharp, and has this finely tuned competitive killer instinct.
