So I'm going away for a few days, and would like to cook a few meals ahead of time for my hubby so that he doesn't live at mcdonalds and he doesn't starve. I was planning on freezing some beef stew and also some chili, but I will be gone for 5 days, any ideas what else I can make that will freeze well?

Spaghetti and sauce, when assembled, freezes and reheats just fine. Casseroles like any combination of chicken, cheese, and noodles freeze well. Red beans and rice is a good choice. You can also stock the fridge with lunch meat and sliced cheese so he can DIY some good sandwiches.

Roast a chicken, that freezes great!

i like to make thai green and red curries. i also like indian curries - palak paneer (my fav), korma, dhall. if you google you'll find some recipes if you feel like experimenting. they're not hard to make. the thing with curries they're pretty versatile - once you have a base recipe down you can chuck in the veg/meat/seafood/legumes or whatever you prefer.

i'd link to some recipes for you, but they'll be in metric.
