    Ok, just found out that using vinegar is a bad, bad idea because when the vinegar hits the urine, it creates a chemical reaction and turns into ammonia. The vinegar will lift the stain, sure, but the ammonia still smells like urine, so the cat is STILL going to pee there. A friend was told this by his vet and he just relayed the info to me.

    This is probably why when I looked for a way to get rid of the pee stain, people raved about the hydrogen peroxide treatment so much.

    Take off and nuke the urine from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
