Mashed potatoes, served on top of a wiener in a bun. With mustard, a little ketchup and some lingonberries.
Very tasty.
I have misplaced the thing normally used for mashing, so I now use my power drill instead,
with the thing/mash attachment, attached to the drill, it works

Aww I feel lame. I made pot roast, mashed potatoes and peas. Lol!! That's so boring compared to everyone else here! Why does this amuse me

I'm going to have to start packing my lunch mondays and fridays so I came up a few ideas for wraps (I'm sure others have come up with these, but I'm really excited about them)

chicken caesar wrap
-tortilla (1o in)
-grilled chicken (cut in the slim strips)
-red onion
-tomato
-romaine
-cucumber
-caesar dressing

cook chicken cool and cut into strips
Toss romaine in dressing
dice cucumber and tomato
put in tortilla roll up

a pecan apple goat cheese wrap
-pecans
-granny smith apples
-goat cheese
-smoked turkey breast
-spinach
-craisins
-tortilla
spread got cheese on inside of toritlla
dice 1/4th apple
tear turkey breast
put ingrediants in tortilla roll up

Hummus wrap
-hummus
-tzaki sauce
-cucumber
-lettuce
-onion
-olives
-feta
-spread humus on tortilla
-dice cucumber
-slice one slice of onion
-marinade cucumber in tzakiki for about 5 minutes
--cut olives in half
-put everything in tortilla and roll up

Reheated some of last nights macaroni and cheese style quinoa. Made it with shark cheddar, parmesan, garlic, kale, and mushrooms. So delicious.

Made this last night and had a slice for dessert and another slice for breakfast:
lemon_banana_bread_recipe.jpg

(not my photo though; photo and recipe found here)

Mine was in a loaf pan, and somehow my glaze did not come out ANYTHING like the photos from the recipe. Still, it was tasty, and the lemon really ties everything together nicely and brings out the flavors.

A bolognese, based on some leftover pulled beef, this should turn out ok, I'm sure.

Jasmine rice with cumin and turmeric and diced onions, stir-fried spinach with garlic, and a fried egg.

More importantly: beer float (coffee stout with vanilla ice cream) for dessert. <3
