    I'm on a roll.

Elote (Mexican corn with mayo, lime juice, spices, and cortija cheese), and a beer boiled bratwurst with curtido sauerkraut (a spicy Salvadorian kraut). I used Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier to cook the brats and also drink, which is made by the oldest brewery in the world.

First time cooking in a very long time, so I kept it simple: gnocchi with soy chorizo and burst cherry tomatoes, sprinkled with cheese and basil. (I grew the basil myself, a fact of which I am unreasonably proud.)

You're damned if you do and damned if you don't, so you might as well be yourself.
