List? I don't use a list. But I usually tend to get:

  • pasta
  • spaghetti sauce
  • meat
  • Ramen noodles (various flavors)
  • pop
  • liquor (usually Captain Morgan), which I consume alone
  • beer
  • chips
  • salsa
  • soap
  • shampoo
  • AXE (because I fall for the marketing)
  • aspirin
I try to keep my groceries to a minimum so I don't collect mold in my refrigerator. And besides, cooking is such an annoying pain in the ass; I usually end up ordering take-out.

What on earth? I get to increase my post count merely by typing out what I need from the store? Well I'll be damned. Okay so...

toilet paper
paper towels
dishwasher powder
dishwashing liquid
laundry soap
eggs
brown sugar
bread

Nice!

A few of the things I need to get at the store today:

blueberries
pineapple
lemongrass
ginger
spinach (whoa did I spell that correctly - I don't think so)
garlic
tea
bread

I know there are a lot of things I'm not remembering right now...
I better start making a hand-made list.

I am alone in the house for 10 days. My shopping list consists of beer, coffee, and oatmeal.

[Sadly] minus the beer I can relate to that.

I'm a very simple lazy cook. My standing grocery list when I lived alone used to consist of:

1) 24 pack of instant microwaveable Asian rice
2) Kale
3) Organic cage-free eggs
4) Soy milk
5) Whole wheat or multigrain extra fiber bread
6) Organic nut butter
7) Coffee
8) Premade side dishes from the Asian supermarket including noodle dishes and chicken wings
9) Tofu
10) Random fruits for juicing including apples, oranges, and carrots (I know, not a fruit)
11) Buckwheat noodles
12) Avocados
13) Sweet potatoes
I would also partake in friends' co-op share so got lots of random greens and sometimes fruits. Yummy.

I ate like this 80% of the time and worked our regularly yet I wasn't losing weight. Now after reading that thread on the book "Wheatbelly" I've cut out wheat. I'm already on a low carb diet so it's not that hard.
