Grocery list + impulse buys. (I'm so rarely at the Korean grocery that I couldn't help but stock up on cool and/or cheap things.

- 3 cans coconut milk
- 2 cans red curry paste
- 1 can green curry paste
- 1 giant 14 oz container red curry paste
- Quinoa (super cheap per lb)
- Honey ginger tea (25% off)
- Bananas
- Green tea mochi with red bean paste
- Schmancy daifuku covered in sesame seeds
- Kimchi
- Durian popsicles!! (been wanting to try durian for ages)
- Giant bag of potstickers

Total: $45. Which is $10 more than my usual weekly grocery bill, but still a pretty good deal for the haul I came away with!

How do you keep your curry paste from going bad after you open it? I almost never use a whole can since the stuff from there is so potent.

My list:

- Apples (Honeycrisp)
- Bananas
- Clementines
- Carrots
- Crimini mushrooms
- Zucchini
- Scallions
- Rice noodles
- Mint cookie ice cream

It keeps in the freezer really well! And keeps in the fridge for at least a couple of months.

Mine always gets moldy in the fridge. I'll have to try the freezer though!

 I have never had that problem. Weird.

Anyway yeah, freezer works :) Especially if you freeze it in the amount you'd put into a curry (half a can?).

Unrelated:

- boneless skinless chicken breasts

This thread is making me wish I could go out and buy groceries. But I am currently prevented from doing that by unplowed roads and 2-3 feet of snow :(

tbh I've started rationing my milk and my coffee grounds...

I once went to the store and bought a hatchet, waterproof duct tape, large heavy duty trashbags and some heavy leather gloves... it got some really odd looks. hadn't occurred to me that I looked like a potential murderer until I checked out and had to point out that I was doing some yard/house work with them! I'm still not sure that they believed me on that :(

is it bad that my first thought to that was "can you still get takeout if you can't go out and buy?"
