This thread got me curious enough to try it, and I likewise was able to recall my dreams much better after I woke up. Felt good.

What I really miss is lucid dreaming... It's almost like playing God.

^10 nootropics to try out... I would like to try the ones I haven't tried. I do eat a fair amount of dark chocolate, take creatine (its in my protein powder) and omega-3 supplements + the ginkgo. Don't know where to find / don't know if I want to spend money on the others. Not until I get some income anyway -_-

[MENTION=13260]Rasofy[/MENTION] I imagine ginkgo would help with the lucid dreaming, as step 1 is better recall. I have only had 1 LD in my life but it was great... I am too damn lazy to carry out the necessary process to consistently bring them about though.

It actually worked wonders for my memory--actually having recall kicks ass. Unfortunately, it didn't agree well with other medications (nullified their effects) and so it wasn't worth it. I'd tried it on and off on a few separate occasions, and both of those effects were there when I was on it and gone when I wasn't.

I never noticed effects on dreams, though. That would've been cool :(
