    Default Ultimate shaving thread

    For all things shaving.

What would your ideal shaving set or case contain and were you able to purchase it or did you build it up over time?

Watching a man shave his face (especially in nothing but a towel) has to be one of the sexiest things in the world to witness.

Still working on my shaving kit.. I've got an antique double edged safety razor. I want to upgrade my brush eventually to badger.

I bought a shaving kit for about $70. It has 6 alternate clippers.
For all that we have done, as a civilization, as individuals, the universe is not stable, and nor is any single thing within it. Stars consume themselves, the universe itself rushes apart, and we ourselves are composed of matter in constant flux. Colonies of cells in temporary alliance, replicating and decaying and housed within, an incandescent cloud of electrical impulses. This is reality, this is self knowledge, and the perception of it will, of course, make you dizzy.

Awhile back I got an Omega badger hair brush and shaving soap (both made in Italy) my birthday. I also use Proraso aftershave. When I finish my current shaving soap I think I'll try the Proraso shaving cream that comes in a toothpaste-style tube.

Haha oh man - right now I use some cheap as hell electric razor. My facial hair grows so fast that I need to shave twice a day to stay clean. Hence...I always have perpetual stubble. I never really let it get to beard status (only during Novembers, obviously) but there's always something sandpaper-ish there. Girls usually don't like it, but do they expect me to shave every 12 hours?!

Well hello thank you for the tip. Fb profile pic here I come. I usually use a trimmer. It's easy on the face and it leaves a bit on facial hair that makes the face look.... good?
