    Default What's your jogging pace?

How fast do you guys "jog"? I've heard the jogging threshold is about 7~8 mins per mile. I do a ton of hiking, and usually hike 8~12 miles on the days I go (which used to be once or twice a week til recently). I hate running, so rest assured I don't do it when I hike. I decided to go ahead and do some jogging around the neighborhood since I've had so little opportunity to hike and don't wanna get out of shape. I did my first mile in about 5 mins, then 3 more miles averaging around 6~7 mins (excluding a couple mins of walking between each mile). I was actually surprised at my pace, as I remember being on the verge of death running ONE mile in high school, lol. After 4 i really didn't feel too tired or worn out, just a really nasty cramp x_x.

When I go running (not that often, I prefer cycling) I usually total a distance of around 15 km (approx 9 miles) and my pace is 4.30 min / km, so around 7 min / mile.

Hahahaha. I came here to say that.

But yeah, I don't like to jog. Not as much as I dislike running, but still, I don't like it. However, I love to walk fast. That counts as something, right?
