Default Hearing test. Can you hear this?

    http://www.noiseaddicts.com/2009/03/...-hearing-test/

One of my friends can reach the max, another can only hear as low as 14khz. I can hear up to 18khz. I'm surprised my hearing's still up there considering I listen to music a lot, and people around me usually tell me how loud my music is because they can hear it through my headphones.

I can only go as high as 17khz. Darn.

Very interesting. I got 22 kHz. But, to be honest, I did use my earbuds and turned the volume to the max. Maybe it was just my imagination and/or static. 19 kHz is barely audible, but no problem with 20 and onward.

Edit: Oh, wait, I turned the volume up on the page as well and went without the earbuds, listening to my tiny laptop's barely there speakers. I can hear all the squeaks.

I can hear it, but I'm also 19...I should be able to hear like a teenager, since I still am one...but I also consider myself to be pretty deaf in conversation, mostly because sounds in words sound the same to me.

Oh, strange...I can only hear from 8kHz to 17kHz...

No wait...I can hear the rest of it if I turn up the speakers.

The highest I can hear is 17kHz. I have significantly poorer hearing in my right ear than in my left though (has been this way for years) so that may explain something. Still, it's depressing, as I'm only 19

I can barely hear 15kHz, and I'm 40. In my defense, I am in an office with some ambient noise. I wonder if it would be different with headphones.

Buh ... I can hear up to 14kHz with the speakers turned up all the way and no other noise in the room. I'm 21.

    I wonder what that means.

The full 22 kHz at age 30!! Apparently this is one of the perks of living like a hermit.

Edit: On lame laptop speakers, but with the volume of the side two more bars upthan the default (i.e. to the max) and the lapton on 100%.

I was afraid I'd get a strange reaction from the cats, but they didn't seem to care at all.

Does it matter that everyone is using different types of speakers?
