I used to have extremely bad seasonal allergies. I started eating local honey in my tea regularly over 6 years ago and all my allergies were gone within the first year. I also changed a lot of other things in my diet too such as cutting out refined products, so other things could have been contributors...

I'm thinking of going to whole foods this weekend and getting some local honey, I've had to take benedryl the last 3 days in a row and it's made me groggy.

I've never heard of that, but I eat local honey regularly in my tea because I prefer the taste, and I still have the same level (very mild but noticeable) of seasonal allergies that I had before I tried the local stuff.

But local honey is delicious, so give it a try anyway! I bet you won't go back. :)
