My current one is:

1. Adios - Rammstein
2. Psychosocial - Slipknot
3. The Good Life - Three Days Grace
4. Time of Dying - Three Days Grace
5. Break - Three Days Grace
6. The Blister Exists - Slipknot
7. Prayer - Disturbed
8 - Life Starts Now - Three Days Grace
9. Mutter - Rammstein
10. Pain - Three Days Grace
11. Angry Chair - Alice in Chains

For some reason, Three Days Grace gets me pumped to run haha. I change up my playlist every so often; I've thrown Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Metallica, and some other bands in there. I try and sort the playlist so it keeps me going when the running starts to destroy me.

I don't really have a work out play list, I'm still using CDs, not ipods or computer, to store music. Bands that I typically listen to are Korn, Pendulum, The Prodigy, Machine Head, Peaches, acouple of rock complilation albums I bought years ago, the gorillas, and a others.

It's been several years since I had a workout playlist, back in the days of the first MP3 players, pre-ipod. :)

More so like to focus my attention on the experience of exercising vs. music now.

But think it's an interesting topic for those who do, I typically like to read play list to see if I can find something new to listen to....that doesn't suck. ;)

My iPod broke so I'm using my CD-R boxset "1993-1999 Alternative Radio Hits." I tend to go for mid-tempo rock.

I used to run to hardcore punk, but it threw me completely off rhythm.

I like angry music when I work out, so my playlist is pretty much filled with Disturbed and Korn. For a cool down I use music by Enigma, and Silent Lucidity by Queensryche.

Bumped up. I'm interested in good songs for:

1. Yoga
2. Cardio

It doesn't matter what language it's in.

I have a mellow playlist I used to use for tanning. Lots of Imogen Heap and Cat Power. See if it resonates for yoga at all . I'll grab my ipod and have more of a looksie when I'm not lazy.

My cardio playlist was all over the place. Now I just Zumba all of the time, so tons of Pitbull, reggaeton, and zumba music.
Maybe look into Santigold/Santogold? Ying Yang Twins were fun. Juelz Santana.

Here, this exercise mix is fun. Contains some rap and a pinch of salty language. And yes, the vid is crack rock.

I use this playlist for yoga a lot...it's semi-randomly generated, semi-customized. It's a lot of shoegaze, indie synthpop stuff. It's also pretty long, so sometimes I start it at different points, just for a change, and so I can get to the end.

Oh, and if you like Bebel Gilberto, then the whole album Tanto Tempo is great for yoga (it's Brazilian bosa nova).

august day song - Bebel Gilberto
Love Will Tear Us Apart - Nouvelle Vague
Forever - Goldfrapp
A Place Called Home - PJ Harvey
Avenue - Saint Etienne
The Magnificent Tree - Hooverphonic
Pearly-Dewdrops' Drops - Cocteau Twins
bananeira - Bebel Gilberto
Ever Fallen In Love - Nouvelle Vague
La La La - The Bird And The Bee
This Mess We're In - PJ Harvey
Sweetness And Light - Lush
Fifty-Fifty Clown - Cocteau Twins
samba da bencao - Bebel Gilberto
Tears For Affairs - Camera Obscura
The Killing Moon - Nouvelle Vague
samba e amor - Bebel Gilberto
I'm A Broken Heart - The Bird And The Bee
Chills - Peter Bjorn & John
Lorelei - Cocteau Twins
All we ever wanted was everything - Bauhaus
I Could Be Happy - Altered Images
The Worst Taste In Music - The Radio Dept.
Lonely - Bebel Gilberto
Your Silent Face - New Order
Heaven Or Las Vegas - Cocteau Twins
Ocean - Lush
This Aching Deal - Shocking Pinks
You Said Something - PJ Harvey
Black Wave - The Shins
so nice (summer samba) - Bebel Gilberto
We've Been Had - The Walkmen
Dizzy - Siouxsie and the Banshees

I don’t work out to music. But sometimes I like old-style 1950s and 60s lounge music for background music while I’m on the computer or doing paperwork. “Ultra-Lounge” (a subdivision of Capital Records) has put out 18 CD collections and maybe another 10 or 12 collections for download. You can get their CDs on Amazon. I haven’t been able to find these tunes put together so neatly anywhere else. I like their Latin music collections in particular.

Fun stuff. It's not stuff I would listen to when I really want to listen, but I like it for in-the-background filler stuff/mood music/period tunes. Who knows--maybe it would be good background music for the purposes of this thread. :)
