Why?

Well, so far I am incredibly sore! But I keep going :workout:

I work out with my boyfriend so we motivate each other :) But i believe it is week two that is going to be worst...

I hope the Yoga will help my sore body. I have not felt my abs as much as I am when doing the abs ripper x. - but hopefully the result will please me :cheese:

Yoga was one of the hardest workouts on the program, in my opinion! Of course, I had never done yoga before and am not very flexible. Plus, it's a long routine. I'll be interested to hear how it goes for you. :)

And don't worry about yoga being "too much". If you can handle the Plyometrics routine and survive, I doubt yoga will throw you in a dark abyss or anything. Plus, you can always stop the tape if you tire out.

When do I start functioning like a normal human being again?

I mean, I have work. If I'm feeling shitty all through work, that's like... bad, and stuff.

Sure exercise is addictive. My husband has to remind me to cut the crap sometimes.

I dance around like a crazy nut; I do my Wii; I spin on my bike; I do workout videos, and he's like OKAYYYY that's ENOUGH NOW.

Holding 1 minute break atm, I fell forward doing all the Warrior things. >_< god, it is really hard and difficult. It is embarrassing that i'm not that flexible as I thought.

I'd answer this if I could. It sounds like you should avoid Yoga in the future though.

Haha! :D

Yeah, yoga really works all aspects of your core flexibility. I was duly humbled as well.

So I should not exercise at all because it all interferes too much with my normal have-to-do routine? That's NOT what the gym teachers say to me!

Really the only thing I can stand to ever do is stretching. It's the only pain I can stand because it feels good. Everything else is even worse.

Haphazard, don't give up - please stretch. It's actually REALLY good for you, and gives you that nice, trim, lean look. If I work out too much with weights, I get bulky muscle mass because I'm an endo-mesomorph. So actually stretching can be really good and lead to better flexibility, better posture, which leads to better everything.

^I agree..

I can so feel the difference if I forgot to stretch after a workout. Especially Back/abs or any shoulder exercises.

I've always been flexible. People are usually impressed and then disgusted that I can bite my toenails. But ever since I started yoga I'm too stiff and dizzy to :/

Stiff and DIZZY. As in, whenever I stretch now, I get dizzy. It doesn't really matter how. I had some free time during work today so I tried to stretch, but then when I went downstairs to meet my boss I felt funny and I must have looked really tired or stoned or something :(

Sorry! My father just walked into my room calling me lazy and I must have written it!

Oh, well... That must be really annoying. I will try and test myself Sunday when stretching if it makes me dizzy too. Never thought about it before.

You won't feel it. Nobody feels the same sensations I do. I'm just a freak and my experiences are completely alien to the human experience.

Haphazard, are you shadowing? You really come across as being in a stressed state. I don't know you that well, but you seem to have really changed over the past two years. I don't mean that in a mean way.

Basically, the key to exercise is: do what you can. Don't do anything that causes you pain or dizziness. And if you find EVERYTHING causes you pain or dizziness, it is time to see the doctor because that really isn't normal and something is causing it. And if he tells you you are some weird dude(tte) that totally has a weird body and there is no explanation, get a second/third opinion.

It would be a fourth or fifth opinion by now. Or maybe sixth. Seventh, eighth... it doesn't matter, it's all exactly the same. I'm perfectly healthy and perfectly crazy, but apparently not crazy enough to be referred to a specialist.

Shrinks refuse to help and think I should see a doctor and doctors refuse to help and think I should see a shrink.

Obviously, there's nothing wrong with me.

:( I didn't mean to offend you - so I hope you didn't take it the wrong way. I'm just a bit worried about you because you sound really down / something I can't quite pin down. Anyway, I still stand by my statement that if everything is hurting so much that you can't exercise (that was what the problem was, right?) then that is definitely something that warrants medical attention. It's not normal to be in constant pain because pain is our body's way of telling us that something is wrong.
