Everything alters brain chemistry. The brain is chemical-electrical.

Why are you so invested in refuting a helpful and true statement? All medical terms are "fabricated."

You're missing the point of the fact that depression can be tended to before it reaches the state of self-destruction.

You can state the cause in any number of ways. Not the issue.

Because depression is not the result of a chemical imbalance, and EVEN IF IT WERE, the drugs used to fight it do not correct any chemical imbalance. Maybe I'll go find some evidence of my own. Maybe not, I'm very flighty.

But it would make sense that you not: Make a factually incorrect statement, then upon my correcting it, ask me why I'm refuting something ELSE.

Okay. Now, what about when it becomes altered to the point of total despair?

To try to fix or not?

One year hard labor in a group setting is my cure-all.

Sounds a fine reason for Germany's NS.

Is there any depression statistics based on country?
(note, I did say 'any', I wouldn't expect them to be very accurate)

-How beautiful, this pale Endymion hour.
    -What are you talking about?
-Endymion, my dear. A beautiful youth possessed by the moon.
-Well, forget about him and get to bed.
    -Yes, my dear.

Imagine if you were shoveling snow 10 hours a day for a year (You might have to visit the High Mountains and/or Australia...) with some friendly people. Wouldn't it be fantastic? It is.
