I inferred it by the way you described your marriage.

You want happy people? End the archaic puritanical nonsense and legalize prostitution in America. Honestly it’s the 21st century. Sex is a biological drive. When you’re hungry you eat. When you’re thirsty you drink. Legal taxable prostitution. Safe. Clean. Civilized. Next issue!

I can definitely vouch for the more sex in LTRs thing. When I'm dating someone sex is great and exciting a few times when it's novel, but without that long comfortable connection and feeling that can only be earned with time and commitment I revert back to preferring to sleep alone and masturbate for pleasure. That's about the point where we both try dating someone else- repeat until something sticks. How long it lasts also depends on a few things, but one of the big ones is how it began. If it had a cheap and easy start, like via online dating which seems to be suddenly really popular, it typically had a cheap and easy ending. People you meet and fight for IRL seem to bear relationships that last much longer. I'd blame online dating and short attention spans before feminism.

EDIT: Age is also a factor. I spent my twenties in two long term relationships and we mated like rabbits the whole while. At the end of my 20s and early 30s I dated around a bit and the sex slowed way down in quantity, though now that I'm back on the LTR train it's picked back up again- but nowhere near my hormone crazy baby making 20s. I think these days millenials spend most of their 20s dating around rather than in LTRs, so the net quantity of sex is down.

    Satan killed relationships, not feminism.

Think that's a disgusting mindset to be honest, not everything should be commodified and bought and sold.

Its got nothing to do with puritanism and everything to do with humanism BTW.

    Gotta be one word, though.

"Friendbesto" so it clumsily stumbles off the tongue.
