That I'm aware of. As I just said, both state and private consist of imperfect humans who want power over others, and you run to one to protect you from the other, and then that one rules over you with an iron fist, one way or the other.

Yes, imperfect humans want power over others, and we have discovered that power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely, so during the European Enlightenment, we invented liberal democracy.

And liberal democracy successfully limits power.

Liberal democracy is counter-intuitive politics and it works.

However those who intuitively seek power have found a way to circumvent liberal democracy with the Security State.
