Default I don't understand a couple of things, but wish someone would explain them to me.

    Trans culture

    Body Dysmorphia

I'm not saying this in a dismissive way. I really want to understand. Educate me. I want to know why these things happen to people. What are the thoughts and feelings that go along with. Can these two thing be connected? if so how? I'm not taking pity, I just truly don't get it.

I learn best with slide shows, pictures, and charts

My theory is that maybe those people have mostly been the opposite gender in previous life times and it just doesn't feel right.

or maybe they used to be a tall African woman or whatever.
There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.

    form leads to sense

    sense leads to contact

    contact leads to feeling

    feeling leads to craving

    craving leads to attachment

    attachment leads to attainment

    attainment leads to birth

or so it was written, once

sorry that's why i added the quick bit about the tall african woman. like what if you were a short stocky white girl but your soul remembers being a tall slender african exotic looking woman?

but...i don't think that's always it. i think a lot of it is just society making people feel not good enough. just the importance we place on it...everything...all the well intended social programing people do from the time one has a baby...oh such a beautiful baby...or a young girl oh she's just so beautiful..etc etc...to the social expectation that one must fancy their opposite sex etc...maybe if that wasn't there then one might not somehow deep in their brain feel like they need to be a different gender...or...society teaching us that men must be strong and masculine...and not making room for someone more naturally effeminate...

maybe if people were celebrated as they actually fucking are then they wouldn't need or want to be something else.

but i will say that i think it's amazing that there exists the possibility to have these things corrected so that one feels at peace in their own body. everyone deserves that.

Believing in previous life times is like believing in fairies.

Sure, we clap, we suspend our disbelief, and fairies appear.

If fairies aren't real, then why are fairies real?

Well, fairies are real when we suspend our disbelief. And as prplchknz says, when we clap.

So we clap and suspend our disbelief and our eyes are opened to the fairy world that is all around us.

Of course disbelievers are blind to fairies, and miss out on the delights of life.
