    Some people ...

process ideas internally while others process them externally.

probably rely more on language to communicate, rather than non-verbal cues.

    talk when they are anxious.

have a need to complete an long-developed idea when they start verbalizing it.

Coffee always makes me chatty and want to extrovert, alcohol does this too. When I'm not "on" anything I mostly am a clam or in my cave. I've noticed that when I'm extraverting that it's rooted in a strong desire to "share".

Sometimes my solutions are based soley on the reactions I see in other people who are listening me talk about my theories.

When I'm nervous I get really quiet and try not to show it.

Often times when there is something that pissed me off, I'll have difficulty expressing what it is, and I'll more or less go to every close friend I know and ask them "why am I pissed off?" And I tend to keep talking and talking and talking until I've figured it out. However, certain personalities can usually tell me why I'm upset in the first 10 seconds I spend complaining. Once I put a title to the issue, its solved and usually disappears immediately once I know the solution on how to fix it.

Often times, I'm most talkative when I have too many thoughts running through my mind and they need to be sorted out.

Thanks everyone for answering. A friend of mine said that some people who are non-talkative are that way because they have nothing in their head. I wondered if that's true. I know that some people process internally and may or may not share their thoughts externally, but they are still thinking about things. Perhaps there are people who don't think about much?

@Riva I honestly think I do both. In real life I can talk with the best of them, but I usually hang out with people who are more introverted than myself, so I appear way more talkative than them. When I am with extroverts, it's super fun but I get drained faster than they do. Either way I am going to need some alone time but when I come out of that alone time, I usually have so much to talk about, it makes the less talkative people's head spin. lol
