I will wish there exists some level of creation above and beyond the physical world. Here I envision a new world illuminated by the ultimate divine light power. It would be a portal into the great mental monuments of our minds. These would be reflected in this world with complete manifestation. All the souls here are unified like the stars of the firmament with bonds unbreakable. Each and every living entity respects the individuality and freedom life must share together. The beauty of this place far exceeds that of the physical world. Pain and suffering have been annihilated altogether. This has resulted from a never ending quest for universal enlightenment and the world peace that followed. Along this journey was discovered the ultimate divine light power. This illuminating force flows from the heavenly source all throughout creation. Existence flowers from this mighty life sustaining stream. From it all things spring into being and can be at will controlled. Tapping into it requires one to search for the true self. Only within will complete transcendence be accomplished. A fully self-mastered mind is liberated from all limitations. One with such might would reach the supreme level of perfection. Perfection is a state of no restrictions. Possibilities without end can be realized with all promise by such a mind. Cosmology and the course the human race takes could be directed at command. Our destinies would take shape and shine by the glories of our achievements. Such a place where wonders like these could be wrought into being could be called Heaven.

Revan was power. It was like staring into the heart of the Force. - Darth Traya (Kreia)

"I am Darth Revan, Dark Lord of the Sith. Those who use the dark side are also bound to serve it. To understand this is to understand the underlying philosophy of the Sith. The dark side offers power for power's sake. You must crave it. Covet it. You must seek power above all else, with no reservation or hesitation. The Force will change you. It will transform you. Some fear this change. The teachings of the Jedi are focused on fighting and controlling this transformation. That is why those who serve the light are limited in what they accomplish."
―Darth Revan's avatar, to Darth Bane

"True power can come only to those who embrace the transformation. There can be no compromise. Mercy, compassion, loyalty: all these things will prevent you from claiming what is rightfully yours. Those who follow the dark side must cast aside these conceits. Those who do not—those who try to walk the path of moderation—will fail, dragged down by their own weakness. Those who accept the power of the dark side must also accept the challenge of holding on to it. By its very nature the dark side invites rivalry and strife. This is the greatest strength of the Sith: it culls the weak from our order. Yet this rivalry can also be our greatest weakness. The strong must be careful lest they be overwhelmed by the ambitions of those working beneath them in concert. Any master who instructs more than one apprentice in the ways of the dark side is a fool. In time, the apprentices will unite their strengths and overthrow the master. It is inevitable; axiomatic. That is why each Master must have only one student."
―Darth Revan's avatar, to Darth Bane

"This is also the reason there can only be one Dark Lord. The Sith must be ruled by a single leader: the very embodiment of the strength and power of the dark side. If the leader grows weak another must rise to seize the mantle. The strong rule; the weak are meant to serve. This is the way it must be. My time here is ended. Take what I have taught you and use it well."
―Darth Revan's avatar, to Darth Bane

So fellas I would be interested in your opinions about the philosophies of Darth Revan. Thanks!

According to an adopted theory, every ponderable atom is differentiated from a tenuous fluid, filling all space merely by spinning motion, as a whirl of water in a calm lake. By being set in movement this fluid, the ether, becomes gross matter. Its movement arrested, the primary substance reverts to its normal state. It appears, then, possible for man through harnessed energy of the medium and suitable agencies for starting and stopping ether whirls to cause matter to form and disappear. At his command, almost without effort on his part, old worlds would vanish and new ones would spring into being. He could alter the size of this planet, control its seasons, adjust its distance from the sun, guide it on its eternal journey along any path he might choose, through the depths of the universe. He could make planets collide and produce his suns and stars, his heat and light; he could originate life in all its infinite forms. To cause at will the birth and death of matter would be man's grandest deed, which would give him the mastery of physical creation, make him fulfill his ultimate destiny.

When a child is born its sense-organs are brought in contact with the outer world. The waves of sound, heat, and light beat upon its feeble body, its sensitive nerve-fibres quiver, the muscles contract and relax in obedience: a gasp, a breath, and in this act a marvelous little engine, of inconceivable delicacy and complexity of construction, unlike any on earth, is hitched to the wheel-work of the Universe.
The little engine labors and grows, performs more and more involved operations, becomes sensitive to ever subtler influences and now there manifests itself in the fully developed being — Man — a desire mysterious, inscrutable and irresistible: to imitate nature, to create, to work himself the wonders he perceives.
Inspired to this task he searches, discovers and invents, designs and constructs, and covers with monuments of beauty, grandeur and awe, the star of his birth. He descends into the bowels of the globe to bring forth its hidden treasures and to unlock its immense imprisoned energies for his use. He invades the dark depths of the ocean and the azure regions of the sky. He peers in the innermost nooks and recesses of molecular structure and lays bare to his gaze worlds infinitely remote. He subdues and puts to his service the fierce, devastating spark of Prometheus, the titanic forces of the waterfall, the wind and the tide. He tames the thundering bolt of Jove and annihilates time and space. He makes the great Sun itself his obedient toiling slave. Such is his power and might that the heavens reverberate and the whole earth trembles by the mere sound of his voice.

To create and to annihilate material substance, cause it to aggregate in forms according to his desire, would be the supreme manifestation of the power of Man's mind, his most complete triumph over the physical world...What has the future in store for this strange being, born of a breath, of perishable tissue, yet Immortal, with his powers fearful and Divine? What magic will be wrought by him in the end? What is to be his greatest deed, his crowning achievement?
Long ago he recognized that all perceptible matter comes from a primary substance, or a tenuity beyond conception, filling all space, the Akasha or luminiferous ether, which is acted upon by the life-giving Prana or Creative Force, calling into existence, in never ending cycles, all things and phenomena. The primary substance, thrown into infinitesimal whirls of prodigious velocity, becomes gross matter; the force subsiding, the motion ceases and matter disappears, reverting to the primary substance.
Can man control this grandest, most awe-inspiring of all processes in nature? Can he harness her inexhaustible energies to perform all their functions at his bidding? more still cause them to operate simply by the force of his will?
If he could do this, he would have powers almost unlimited and supernatural. At his command, with but a slight effort on his part, old worlds would disappear and new ones of his planning would spring into being. He could fix, solidify and preserve the ethereal shapes of his imagining, the fleeting visions of his dreams. He could express all the creations of his mind on any scale, in forms concrete and imperishable. He could alter the size of this planet, control its seasons, guide it along any path he might choose through the depths of the Universe. He could cause planets to collide and produce his suns and stars, his heat and light. He could originate and develop life in all its infinite forms.
To create and to annihilate material substance, cause it to aggregate in forms according to his desire, would be the supreme manifestation of the power of Man's mind, his most complete triumph over the physical world, his crowning achievement, which would place him beside his Creator, make him fulfill his Ultimate Destiny.

Unless you make yourself equal to God, you cannot understand God: for the like is not intelligible save to the like. Make yourself grow to a greatness beyond measure, by a bound free yourself from the body; raise yourself above all time, become Eternity; then you will understand God. Believe that nothing is impossible for you, think yourself immortal and capable of understanding all, all arts, all sciences, the nature of every living being. Mount higher than the highest height; descend lower than the lowest depth. Draw into yourself all sensations of everything created, fire and water, dry and moist, imagining that you are everywhere, on earth, in the sea, in the sky, that you are not yet born, in the maternal womb, adolescent, old, dead, beyond death. If you embrace in your thought all things at once, times, places, substances, qualities, quantities, you may understand God. — Giordano Bruno

What steps of action must we take to accomplish eternal life, world peace, universal enlightenment, ultimate power, and unified love?

My Philosophical System

Behold the ultimate life purpose and the meaning of God!

Life
1. Life is a journey in search of freedom and achievement.
2. Freedom is the foundation from which achievement can take shape.
3. Achievement is an ever evolving transformation of creation by willpower.
4. Willpower is conceptualization made manifest by the mind into creation.
5. Conceptualization is a mental construction from which vision is built.
6. Vision is the way in which the world is perceived.
7. The world is the infinite existence producing all possible forms.
8. Existence is all the levels of creation experienced by life.
9. Creation is an eternal expression of life focused into form.

God
10. God is the source from which life and creation spring.
11. The source is a force flowing throughout all of existence.
12. A force is the cause from which further effects follow.
13. Cause and effect is a dynamic system of contingency sequences.
14. A contingency sequence is all the possible directions of actions.
15. A direction is the path of movement on a journey.
16. A journey is moving towards a destination on a limitless horizon.
17. A destination is the accomplishment of an ultimate life goal.
18. A goal is a star guiding our ways towards freedom.

Meaning
19. Meaning is found in becoming a fully self-mastered being.
20. A fully self-mastered being is liberated from all limitations.
21. Being without limitations is impossible in a well-ordered realm.
22. A well-ordered realm is one in which laws persist.
23. To alter the laws would make being without limitations possible.
24. Being without limitations would make feats like moving mountains possible.
25. Moving mountains could be seen as a means of ascension.
26. Ascension is transcending this dimension above and beyond its design.
27. To design all things in theory is perfection without end.

The Acentric Labyrinth: Giordano Bruno's Prelude to Contemporary Cosmology

I The infinite universe:

1 The universe is infinite.
2 It is infinite because it has no borders or limits, neither does it have a surface, and hence neither circumference nor figure.
3 The universe has no center.
4 Space is an homogeneous and infinite continuum.
5 The ether is identical with the void or absolute space. Thus, so understood, the void is not impossible. There is interplanetary and interstellar space (or void). The universe is not solid. The heavenly bodies are not in a vacuum, but in this medium called ether; this is their only universal ‘place’. There are no absolute voids or perfect vacuums in the universe, nor outside of it.
6 The universe is one single whole.
7 The infinite universe does not need an external motor to move it. In itself it is immovable, since there is nothing else it can move towards or go away from; however, everything in it is in constant motion.
8 From the infinite universe new abundance of matter is always born.
9 The universe is homogeneous and isotropic; there is no hierarchy in cosmic matter resulting from its relative distance from the human observer on Earth; the universe looks the same from wherever in the universe an observer may look at it. All heavenly bodies are made of the same elements and have similar composition, consistency, and structure. Neither the sun nor the Earth have any cosmological privileges over other heavenly bodies in the infinite universe. There is no essential difference between the sublunar the supralunar world.
10 Motion is universal. All heavenly bodies are endowed with several kinds of movement, and none of them is perfectly regular.
11 The universe had no beginning in time; it will have no end either; it is eternal.
12 There is no absolute time. In the universe, the number of times correspond to the number of celestial bodies.
13 The material universe consists of space, ether, atoms, and light.
14 Light is not made up of atoms.

II The innumerable worlds:

15 There are innumerable, indeed infinite, suns and planets in the universe.
16 These innumerable suns and planets are in themselves finite.
17 Heavenly bodies move freely in space. The celestial vault or firmament – the ultimate sphere of fixed stars equidistant from the Earth – is an illusion. All heavenly bodies have in themselves their own immanent principle of movement (soul); they are automotive and animated; they do not need to be pushed or pulled by other bodies; their source of movement is internal vigor, not external impulse (mechanical push or pull).
18 The Sun is a star and the stars are suns. They are not made up exclusively of fire, but of the same elements that make up the Earth as well as all other celestial bodies.
19 The Sun, like all heavenly bodies, moves; it revolves around its center.
20 Besides the visible planets, there may be other invisible ones rotating around the Sun which we cannot see because of their distance or size.
21 There are probably other planetary orbits around other suns besides our own solar ones.
22 The farther the planets are from the Sun, the longer are their orbits, and the longer their orbits, the slower they move around the Sun.
23 The Earth is a planet not unlike many others in the universe. It moves freely in space, and is not a perfect sphere.
24 There are probably living beings in other worlds.

III The soul of the universe:

25 The universe is one because it has one single immanent principle that holds all its parts together, just as the human soul is the one single principle that holds together and interrelates all parts of the body. It is the soul of the universe.
26 The soul of the universe must be conceived as the principle and substance of the universe, although its true nature is extremely difficult to grasp.
27 The universal soul is found in everything, and there is no corpuscle, however tiny, that is not animated by it.
28 The universal soul is able to produce all from all.

IV The universal intellect:

29 There is order in the universe; this order is not the result of chance, as the atomists would have it, but rather the effect of an efficient cause, the universal intellect. The universal intellect is the only single immanent principle of organized complexity in the universe: Mind, God, Being, the One, Truth, Fate, Reason, Order.
30 The agent that governs, orders, and directs everything in the universe is the intellect of the soul of the universe; the intellect is not only the formal cause and principle of the universe, but its efficient cause as well.
31 The efficient cause of the universe, the universal intellect, must also be conceived as the final cause of the universe, for it may be conceived as having an infinite (not transcendentally pre-established) purpose, namely that all possible forms of matter it contains can be actualized, for it must become everything that it can possibly become. It so strives to achieve perfection through a full ‘explication’ or unfolding.
32 The universe is not complete and perfect; the infinite universe is open and therefore can never reach perfect completion.

V Matter and form:

33 Matter and form, the passive and the active metaphysical principles of all physical reality, are inseparable, infinite, eternal, and indestructible.
34 Matter is divine and animated from within by the equally divine formal principle.
35 All the individual forms existing in the universe are not received by matter from outside, but all proceed from the infinitely fecund bosom of matter animated by one single form, which is the soul of the universe.
36 The One (universal intellect or a cosmic mind) effects an infinity of forms out of uncreated matter throughout eternity. There was never a single act of creation that produced, out of nothing, a complete and perfect universe of immutable forms.
37 All the infinite different forms in the universe are subject to constant transformations. All forms on Earth are incessantly changing into other forms, and all bodies in the universe are equally transmutable and susceptible to incessant changes.
38 In the universe, only space and ether are continua; the rest are either discrete, perfectly solid, indivisible atoms, or the bodies of such atoms. The atoms are the most elementary particles of matter.
39 Matter comprehends a lot more than atoms; it includes ether and light as well.
40 Atoms are automotive and animated, that is, they have in themselves the principles of movement (they have ‘souls’). Their movements produce infinite combinations which settle down to innumerable forms.

If it is not true it is very well invented. - Giordano Bruno

What steps of action must we take to accomplish eternal life, world peace, universal enlightenment, ultimate power, and unified love?

We discovered the Enlightenment in the 17th and 18th centuries where we discovered that power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

So the steps you want to take are away from the Enlightenment, away from evidence and reason, and into the paranoia of, "ultimate power".

Possibly this is because you are influenced by a powerful country steeped in paranoia, or it may be you are reacting to having met, "ultimate power", as a child and repressed the memory. And now you seek to regain your memory by becoming the, "ultimate power", yourself.

But standing in your path is the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948.

I found the following passage taken from Ene's The Spiritual Laws of the Universe as Best as I can Currently Understand Them thread to be a treaure trove:

I am thinking that NF blog thread meand any NF can post a blog, even me. I tried using the blog tap, but I don't think anybody ever really goes there much. Before I delve into the heart of my ponderings, let me preface by saying a few things.

First, please realize that it takes a while to build up to my point and what I'm going to talk about isn't microwave philosophy, it's multi-layered and far-reaching.

Secondly, I write in simple terms. I like simple language. I will do my best NOT to use a twenty dollar word if a fifty cent one will do the job. I like simplicity, so please bear with me in that and don’t take it as a sign that I’m unintelligent. My goal is to communicate, not to impress.

Thirdly, realize that all I am about to write is based purely on my own understanding and is being written with only the intent to share my understanding of the world and the universe with those who care to listen. In no way am I attempting to alter, judge or persuade you. However, I hear a lot of people online knocking spiritual principles [to the point of wishing all of us dead who choose to believe in a spirit world] they obviously know little about. Just because a person has a degree in physics, it doesn't automatically qualify them to practice internal medicine. In the same way, a person who has never prayed or studied any spiritual writings really doesn't know enough to criticize anyone's faith or religion. That's narrow-minded and one-sided.

Ultimately, each person believes what he or she wants to believe anyway. Still, it may be that somebody out there will see something of value in what I have to say, that it may mean something in someone’s life. It means everything in my life. If my words offend you then go away.I will not argue with you. I dislike conflict and I really won’t debate you to try to prove my point. If my words mean something to you or if you want to inquire in a spirit of mutual respect and sharing, then stay. But whatever you do, don’t get all huffy and try to set me straight. It’s my blog. It’s my thoughts and I’m only inviting you to read them, not forcing you to agree with them. But I will not respond to mean-spirited criticism.

What I believe cannot be summed up in a single post, maybe not in a hundred posts and I doubt that given a lifetime I could accurately put it into words, although Heaven knows I try. Nevertheless, here goes.

Okay, point taken, people reading this should be open to the ideas presented.

Ancient philosophers believed that the here and now are but a mirror of reality, that our time on planet earth is much like an existence spent inside a cave and all that we perceive to be reality is but a reflection of true reality. I believe they were closer to the truth than some of us are today. Nothing that exists physically can exist without some causative agent acting upon it to make it exist. Therefore the cause of the existence of the physical universe must be non-physical. It must supersede the limitations of the physical universe. That would mean that the physical universe as we know it must have had a causative agent and that it must have had a point when it came into existence, whether in a flash or over time, is unimportant to me. It is here. That’s what is important to me and the amount of time it took for it to become is irrelevant to the fact that it is here. I will call this causative agent, The Self-Sufficient One. And I will use the pronoun, “he” just for simplicity’s sake, not because I believe that such a being could actually be bound or defined by something as confining as gender.

Indeed, existence as we see it fails to reflect how intricate it really is. We have no clear idea what the higher, non-physical aspects of the Universe are, more still to merge with them. And then we dan't even know what the prime mover was that moved creation into causation; who was the Creator? Perhaps he was a witness of sorts, and by seeing the formless, by gazing into the void, creation took shape; something came from nothing. He may have spoken some kind of magic word, like how the Bible says God made the mighty declaration "Let there be Light!". The words breathed fire into the equations and gave us a Universe to describe. If we can decipher what they mean, it may show us the shining path back to the beginning.

The Self Sufficient One exists outside the bounds of time and laws of physics. In fact, I believe, that he created the linear existence in this temporal world for a specific purpose. The Self Sufficient One decided to create something just for the sake of creating it, just as a human artist might decide to create something because it brings her pleasure. So he created for "his good pleasure" or as folks around here might say, “He made everything that he wanted to make, just because he wanted to make it.” Among his creations were various entities with amazing capabilities. He created things for them to do and took great joy in these beings. Just as an artist's work is a part of that artist made reality, these beings were a part of the Creator made alive. He made them in such a way that they could never be destroyed. He made all the matter and energy consisting of them constant and dictated that nothing he created could ever be uncreated. All that exists is eternal because he is eternal. It could merely be changed as in the law of conservation of mass and energy. I believe he established perimeters or laws upon his creation, for the very nature of a creation suggests a limitation not present in the creator. I guess you could say that it is ‘artistic logic’. Among these living creatures there was one [I’ll call him Beautiful One] who desired to also have the creative abilities of his maker so he began to seek them, but the Self-Sufficient One could not make this one his equal, because it was not possible. It would be like me, as an author, giving the characters in my story the ability to rewrite the story without my intervention. So, when the Self-Sufficient One explained to this one that he was only a created being and not the Supreme Being, this one disagreed. Not only did he disagree, he convinces multitudes of other created being to disagree along with him. You see, he was very good with his own brand of limited logic and he was very convincing to any created being that would listen.

God, whoever or whatever that may be, must take great glory in his creation, and all of its various manifestations by which it looks inside itself, into its own true nature; I am that I am. Perhaps such a being or power with this kind of supreme perfection must have transcended all restrictions, achieved liberation from all limitations. The great task before life at our current stage must be to seek the higher source, to quest for the greater levels of being. Through this process, we may develop and evolve to a point where we can become co-creators with the divine. We must first however have chaos inside to give birth to a dancing star. The next step in the chain then is the problem of evil and triumphing over tribulation.

Beautiful One said that he was his own creator and believed that he could create a reality better than the one the Self-Sufficient One had made, so he accessed his creator of being unfair. He wanted an existence without the Self-Sufficient One. He made strong assumptions, because even though he lacked the abilities of his maker, he was still capable of more than those of us bound in this temporal dimension which is governed by the laws of physics and mortality can understand. So the Self-Sufficient One agreed to let him give it his best shot. He gave him a little thing called a solar system and told him to create to his heart's content. He even gave him the building blocks to do it with, but still Beautiful One lacked the ability of the Creator to just will something into existence. His attempt was a failure and the world he had been given was chaotic and devoid of life.....I have to go teach a class now....more to come.

The great tragedy of our current civilization is our lowly position down the ladder. The premature suffering and death of millions is primarily tracible to this cause. If we wish to overcome this problem, we must begin by seeking enlightenment, and the world peace that would follow as we come to respect individuality and appreciate other points of view. If we could accomlish this task, it would be the top of the mountain for our species, but to reach the zenith of the sky and the stars of the firmament, we must next seek ultimate power and unified love. With these goals in mind to look up to, and with the crowning achievments that lead us to our peak, we could redeisgn the creation into our own image of perfection.

I'm glad you responded to my post Ene :) - it needs a place here in my thread.

I do hope to address this further as I go along. But for now, I can't stop thinking that if we are created in the Creator's image then we, too, possess this power of thought, will and word, maybe not in as great a capacity, but who truly knows? It is an intriguing concept. King Solomon said that life and death are in the power of the tongue [the human tongue] and Jesus said that whatever a man or woman says and does not doubt in his/her heart [spirit] then that person will have whatever he or she says.

I like that. One man I know of says it so aptly, "As it was in the beginning so it shall be in the end."

I like how you describe this. I think that limitations would mean nothing to such a being. I think that limitations as we know them can only exist in a finite world, or rather a universe bound by time and physicality. I'm not sure it's actualy coming out the way I mean it. Sometimes, I have a concept but I lack words to fully articulate or write the notion that gnaws at the back of my mind.

Yes. I agree. In Bagua we call it the "way" or the "tao". Ironically, the first followers of Jesus described themselves as being "in the way." C.S. Lewis spoke of this connection. Terms and concepts associated with Western and modern Christianity came about as a result of....well, that's a whole other can of worms and they can be let out on another day. I have a meeting in ten minutes. haha.

I think we already have that ability, but to a large extent, we have been blinded by the here and the now. I liken it to a child born with a special ability but never realizing he had that special ability because he had been told all of his life that it was impossible.

Good point.

Drats...it is time for the meeting now. {I always dread meetings}. I must leave this conversation for now. However, there is a saying, "Oh, death where is your sting? Oh, grave, where is your victory?" I like that. Thanks RaptorWizard, for seeing beyond the here and now and for questioning things that are not always tangible. I like how you use both your mind and your intuition. Perhaps, and this is a stab in the dark, but perhaps, intuition is a gift from the plane that "transcends". I think everybody has it.

Thank you, Raptor Wizard, for moving this. I meant to put it both places but got pulled away from my machine before I could accomplish the task.

For our honor to be intact, we need to see it by asking a question. We create a bastion to ward off the weakness. There is a desire to achieve something, a final understanding of our scenario in life. There is a reason we are not in Heaven. We are living history. We have to make it and find the way to Heaven. We have to be on that level to be there with honor without destroying it. We are the world. Everything about our life needs a force present. If we are in Heaven these forces would be removed and we would be different. We are in a river that we drink from to incarnate into physical form from the timeless world, and these progress with everlasting life. We desire to meet the challenges and rise above them.

This world is Hell. Hell is meant to teach our soul something, which we continuously undergo, and which could take many lifetimes. We are in the lower density within our material bodies. There is a huge spectrum through which we experience this place, increase our frequency, and rise. We are on the edge of a huge spiritual evolution shift. We develop on this planet and then go out into space.

The most personal God that we can have is character and love, I am that I am. There is one force, love, that everything is a part of, and makes everything possible. I shall prove to be what I am. When we pray we should talk to God with the force and feeling of our true character, the nature of everything. I will have an endless future with complete potential. Our character is not us, it is what we have, and that is love. That is what we must talk to in prayer to expand, in which God can give people dreams and reveal secrets. This is at the core, the center of our being. This force with belief can give us anything. Ask love to show us the way, the ruler of everything.

We can create entities in our head with belief, a conduit to personal knowledge. Opinion is the substance and a formulation from which new notions can spring from a growing pool. Everything is real. There may be forces that seek to destroy what is real. The void is always there and has to be there. The creation of existence out of everything began with a witness, where everything was one, but a witness made 2 things sex, so the nothing created everything. The witness is everything, and he made nothing, and impossibility before it existed, by the power of his language, the word that gave us room for more. This gave us something rather than nothing.
