Ask one or other (or both, separately) of your parents to describe your personality and list the first 3 things they say. Don't let them think about it too long.

Any surprises?

Stubborn, dry sense of humor, and tenacious. No real surprises.

Good thread idea.

I don't have any readily available parents. So I asked someone else who knows me.

1. Honest
2. Loyal
3. Manipulative

Trust me, they can be reconciled.

Lol, I asked my mother on the phone and her reaction was very interesting.

She was completely baffled and said something along the line of "Oh, I don't know. I'm literally out of words. I mean, when I think of you, I have a mental image of you before me and I have feelings for that image - I feel like hugging it - but I couldn't put you into words. It's a complex abstract idea, a cluster of things, but nothing you can describe in a few words."/Ne dom

Nice thread but I'm too reluctant/shy to ask my parents. I'll get my ass handed to me on a silver platter if I ask my ESTJ dad so I will/might ask my ESFP mother and contribute.

No one else seems to think so...

Anyway, these are mine:
1. Dominant
2. Kind
3. Harsh

Slightly schizophrenic, I'm thinking...

I awww...'d but I do believe it.

Another person who offered something up without me asking:

1. Compassionate--taking on others' needs as my own
2. Brilliant (probably an overstatement)
3. Persistent, assertive, knowing what I want, focused, etc. etc.

Although, they were outright telling me what they liked about me, so negatives aren't tossed in there.

Do your parents share a perverse sense of humour?

Yeah.... some of them are rather debatable...

The bold is what I agree with.
