The two dumbest dreams I've ever had:

1. I went shopping at Wal-Mart on Thanksgiving and I was in the check-out line with my stuffz. A female employee pushed me out of the way and let a bunch of people go in line ahead of me, so I got really pissed off and kneed her in the crotch.

2. My dog had been elected leader of some evil organization. She had absolutely no grasp of what was going on, of course: the "leader" might as well have been a doornail. She was being sent a lot of hate mail and death threats, and I read something in a news magazine about her "moral depravity". My protective instincts flared up, and I picked her up and started cuddling her while saying "Leave her alone. She doesn't understand."

This was a dream I had about 3 months ago (I guess)...

I am on a train with a number of people that I know in the dream but don't really know who they are...The railroad track is going thru a narrow rocky valley...A little later the it comes to a halt cause the track suddenly ends...We all get off the train and start walking...After a while the valley opens up to a canyon completely surrounded by high plateaus...

At the far end of the canyon there stands a space shuttle ready for lunch off...just as we are about to go on foot towards it, it launches off...I say to myself "damn, whoever was there left without us..." and feel some kind of despair...

We nevertheless walk towards the launch pad and when we reach there notice that there is some kind of a small, open-office-like base beneath the shuttle...I immediately start exploring it and conclude that whoever left with the shuttle left us behind a self-sufficent base that we can take shelter in...I felt relieved and decide to find out how it all works...

Then I woke up...

A more recent but a less fancy one I recall was I notice in the dream that I smoked 4-5 cigarettes in a row and then get pissed off at myself for starting smoking again...I recalled this one later in the day when a friend mentioned that some ex-smokers dreamt about smoking...

Ok so I was walking home from school, and [MENTION=8936]highlander[/MENTION] just happen to drive by and he said "hi" so I jumped into the backseat of his car, without him asking. I told him "I'm kidnapping myself" and he was like ok and asked jokingly if I had a machine gun I said "no, but I need to get one" then all of a sudden there were 2 more members he was giving rides to,
and then I get home and there's a freezer full bag of bacon thats chopped so I make it and I regret making eggs to go with it cuz my parents are home and they order a pizza (they ordered it before they knew I had made bacon)
Ok so I wake up from the dream, but not in real life and get on vent and say stuff that doesn't make sense, cuz I'm in out of consciousness. And then later I'm walking through a backward without shoes on and my feet keep sinking. so I tell my room mate about my dream, and tell her it felt like I was on acid (it didn't looking back) she thought that was really cool. I told her that it worried me because I hadn't been taking my meds, and she didn't get the big deal and urged me to keep not taking them. Then I started watching this interview about a horror movie then I was in an old italian convent that was haunted and this lady was holding a cupboard shut and I was suspicious, and somehow I knew it was a vampire. and then there was this thing in the bed, but then it wasn't there. and the sheets semi formed this thing but never a full body. then my house manager (I was back at the place with the yard) asked if I smoked inside. And she told me she only does in her bedroom.

I'm sure other things happened, but that's what I remember. I just had these dreams

I posted this originally on a dream forum for interpretation:

It took place in a futuristic world, in an electronic castle surrounded by a desert (the castle was electric blue/green with a black base). Fairies existed in this dream, but they looked like normal people. I met a fairy girl that was around 8-years-old and we started talking for a bit, but then a guard got her saying she did something that she had to be executed for. So she and I ran off, inside the castle. But as we went on this elevator (going up to a really high floor) we could see guards running around because they were sending out an alert that she escaped. So when we got to the highest floor we ended up fighting and killing/knocking out (not sure which - they were lying on the ground) the guards on the floor. But just when we were about to escape, we backed up into a guard and he tried to capture her. Somehow we ran under his legs and got back down on the first floor. After, we ran outside of the castle and into the desert to escape. However a guard caught her with an electric force field. Then the scene changes to a stadium inside the castle. Everyone in the castle is there, because the fairy girl I've been running around with is about to be executed. Some people that know her and I are on the ground close to her. Before she gets executed, she comes over to me. I start to breakdown and cry. I hugged her saying how I didn't want her to die and how the world we live in isn't fair and how we needed more time. Then she said something to me that made me cry even more. Then I said I'd never forget her, while I was crying and hugging her. Then we both stepped back and the guard executed her (painlessly) and she turned to sparkling, gold dust. In the dust there was a fortune. I took it and walked out of the stadium, reading it. It said "dreams are an electric current". I start crying into the fortune.

Here's the analysis of it:

Your dream depicts the threat of loss, the loss of wonder, innocence, and childhood. These are what the castle, the fairy girl, and the elevated floor represent. In your dream there is a strong association between the electric and the magical, which is another manifestation of wonder and childhood.

The little girl is you. As she is fated to die by the guards, so is the whimsical castle surrounded by the desert. These relationships represent your sensibility that your own childhood is slipping away or will slip away in the future [the dream takes place in the future], and what is to come is mindless execution [the behavior of the guards, responsibility] and the desert [harshness and desolation].

"Dream is an electric current" is the wisdom that she leaves you. Electric current is energy, that which can energize your life, particularly your inner life. Dream is the vehicle by which you can return to the wonderland of your childhood. Essentially, she is telling you that the very dream that you are having is a touchstone to that little girl and that electric castle forever. Best wishes.

I was in that half-asleep, half-awake phase last night/early this morning, before dawn. I heard my dog come down the hall, feet tapping on the wooden floor, and then onto my padded bedroom carpet, whimpering softly because he had to go for a walk. He knows what to do: Cimarron is the first person in the house to wake up, so he saunters in and I hear his nose sniffing right outside the bedsheets, inches from my face. One of my favorite things about weekend mornings. :) Then I lift up the bedsheets to say good morning to him, and reality comes back -- I haven't lived in that house in 5 years, nor has my dog been alive in 5 years.

I was in canada and I was in a casino, and I decided to go to the bar and get a beer. I was told by the bartender that it was too late to buy beer but if I paid 20 dollars i could do some coke. It was 20 dollar down payment plus 1-2 dollars per gram. At first I thought he meant I had to be canadian so I declined then to find out I just had to be over 21 so all of a sudden bunch of people were with me so we did that. And We never actually did the cocaine (the dream ended before then) instead we ate sushi

Like a week ago I think I had a dream that I was walking in the middle of a road at night and somehow started meditating, suddenly I realized that I was communicating with someone through the meditation, like I established a communication with someone:he was reading my thoughts and I was reading his.

WARNING! THIS DREAM IS PRETTY NASTY AND NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH A WEAK STOMACH!

Three days ago I had this dream I had a new job. When I showed up for my first day of work, it turned out that I'd be earning my money there by urinating, defecating, vomiting etc. on barely dressed soldiers in front of a camera. I thought that was very strange and weird. Then I met a soldier who I would have to cover in my period blood later that day. We had a conversation and it turned out he really liked period blood. I thought that was strange, but it made me feel less bad for him. Then the director told us we'd have to get ready for the first take and fortunately, that's when I woke up.

I had a dream about peeing on someone the other day too but I don't remember the details. Not as vivid as yours though.

Tornadoes were coming from all directions, dozens of them. I was in a strange town, not where I live now. I was thinking about my family, wondering who was where. That's different from my real life because my parents live down in West Virginia, and I'm in PA now, and in the dream I was thinking of them and my brother, as though we were all still living together. The tornadoes were going through the town, and they missed the house I was hiding in. I couldn't find a good basement underground to hide in. I was just trying to run down the streets and get as far away from the tornadoes as I could, but wherever I ran, I would see more tornadoes, big ones and small ones, dark ones or thin wispy ones that I could see through. They weren't noisy - I don't remember any noise in the dream. I was trying to find people I knew, and we were all scattered around the town. I think I might have had a cell phone and I was calling people. It was the feeling of being totally surrounded, that no matter where I ran, something else terrible would happen, something would appear in front of me while something else was behind me.

This sounds exactly like Abu Ghraib prison, or some other prison where they torture Muslims.

.... and then noticed that there were guillotine blades hanging over the windows.

I've seen windows that won't stay open when you push them up, and they start to slam down over you if you stick your head out the window, because the thing that holds it up is broken.

Did you recently meet or fall in love with a person who has any resemblance to a loyal dog, someone loving and trustworthy?

Man...I love my dreams.

So, last night...

We were sitting there, waiting for the lady to finish roasting the maize I had bought from her, and for some reason...a crowd was there. Full of all my friends. (Virtually all my dreams involve my real life friends...)

And, I was sitting next to a girl. A childhood friend. But, I let one guy, and then a next get in between me and her. Even in the dream I knew it was because of "not wanting to be with her". (She's too far away in real life...I can't develop feelings for her!). So, then someone forces me to be at the front of the crowd...as it is 'my rightful place'...and I run away from...and go off to the side. I start crying...

So, I finally get my maize...and I'm walking back towards class (I guess we were at school, lol)...

And this guy (another childhood friend) is talking to another guy...like why does he always give up like that? Anyway...the guy said I was gay...and I completely flipped. I started kicking ass! Seriously, it was like I was Chuck Norris...my victims all those friends...

(I wasn't killing them, no! I was just letting them know what was what...)

But I was also crying...

Eventually, my first girlfriend...she comes up to me, and she hugs me. And she whispers to me "You were always straight, and you were always sexual, and you gave me the perfect birthday gift."

Then I woke up. Lol.

Before then though, I dreamt I met a girl...who was beautiful....and we were having sex. Except, it was unprotected...and I finished inside her. I was like, oops...! And she was like "I don't mind, I want a baby". Then I was hurt & angry...because maybe I didn't want one and maybe she was taking advantage of my sexual drive? Letting me make a mistake? Like, if she really loved me...she wouldn't let me make a mistake.

You know...in the dream, I didn't know what my first gf was talking about with the gift...but I just realized we first got together on her birthday! My mind is already blown lol...

One of my most memorable dreams, though...goes like this...

We were in a giant virtual reality computer simulator. There was a huge triangle of girls. And I was supposed to get to the top of the triangle. So, I'm fighting and fighting (other men were trying to prevent it...), trying to get to the top of this triangle...and who should be there but this girl named...let's call her Woman X. Woman X is someone I know in real life. So, I embrace Woman X, and wake up.

When I wake up, the first thing I do is call Woman X and ask her what her plans for the next 6 months are. She says she'll be at a certain place. I ask her if she has a boyfriend. She said she didn't. I then told her that I was moving to that place, because she was there. My attitude was like "Try and stop me..." lol

A month or two later, I was there. It was like..you know...fate/destiny..and she was my girlfriend for 6 months after that. Best thing that ever happened to me.

Except I messed it up a bit. :(
Still, she's like my best friend. lol

Seriously...I look to my dreams to tell me what to do in real life. Especially socially...

My real life, and my dream life are like...the exact same life, as far as I'm concerned.

My life is about, quite literally, following my dreams.

That my sister and nieces died in a car accident. I knew what it symbolized and that thing came to pass.

I have an annoying recurring dream state wherein I know I am dreaming and I'm trying to wake myself up. I then think I've woken up but soon realize that I'm still dreaming. I kinda hate it after the first few passes because I feel bored while it is happening and I'm not rested when I eventually do wake up.

I've had this. Especially on mornings you know you have to wake up early.

Like...you'll wake up, put something on, go to the bathroom, look in the mirror...and then realize it was just a dream. So you laugh, then wake up, then put something on, then go to the bathroom...only to realize that was a dream.

It'll happen 4/5 times before you start getting pissed. lolol good stuff.
