Default Introversion no longer in DSM-5 Proposal

    http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/...verts-not-nuts

    Instead,
The current proposal to update the DSM includes "detachment" as a headline item under schizotypal personality disorder, saying it "involves withdrawal from other people and from social interactions." It defines withdrawal as "preference for being alone to being with others; reticence in social situations; avoidance of social contacts and activity; lack of initiation of social contact."
Guess I can go back to being normally abnormal...

I think too much extraversion can potentially be pathological but I doubt you'll ever see such a thing even considered for DSM criteria.

    What a joke.

Its disgusting extroverts think everyone ought to want to listen to all their endless shallow nonsense that drips onto their tongue from their largely empty vessel of a brain to bore the hell out of one third of the population looking for substance, that they label those of us with a hunger for depth over breadth abnormal.

Its abnormal to not know when to shut up, relax and do something worthy instead of use interaction like a crack addiction. Effing idiots really make me want to vomit.

Maybe it's covered under Narcissistic or Histrionic Personality Disorder?

The big news about DSM-V (At least in GRASP circles) is them eliminating Asperger's!

More like shoving it into the autism spectrum diagnosis instead.

I know, but in practice, it seems like dissolving it into nonexistence.

This is exactly what I was thinking.

So if the quote above describes me, I am still considered (abnormally) abnormal???
I've been called a criminal, a terrorist, and a threat to the known universe. But everything you were told is a lie. The truth is, they've taken our freedom, our home, and our future. The time has come for all humanity to take a stand...
